Description I managed to download a Hacked version of the mdl decompiler, and was able to extract a Spy .SMD file. The decompiler is very glitchy and constantly crashes.

Anyway, It took me a while to figure out how to apply the cartoonish shader to the model.
I had the camera shifted to a point where it looks like the Spy is keeping a straight/pissed face. If only there was a software that allowed us to import expressions from the game for the model >.<

I'm not exactly sure how to decompile it to Maya, But The .smd importer I downloaded had a Maya counterpart somewhere, I'm not certain were, but I Think it was one of Cannonfodder's downloads, next to the .mdl decompiler, which you WILL need

Very nice. A friend of mine told me that his friend found out a way to import TF2 models to Maya, not sure if its this same way.

Importing them was no problem, sad thing is I gotta copy the skinning in the edit, and weld the vertices, and apply a proper smoother to certain faces before applying the copied skin.

either the cell-shader is off a little, or he's shiney...

either way, good job. what extractor/decompiler do you use?

I used Cannon Fodder's, this was a hacked version, I found the download on a FPS banana forum.

hacked like how? was it just a cracked/registered version, or was it custom?

no, its the original, and I think it's code was hacked or something, to where it can open Team Fortress 2 models, cause the original Decompiler crashes when you load Orange box game models.
