And, yup, it's a photomanip. Took a pic of my hand with a stylus on a page of my sketchbook and made it look like it could run Painter IX.
I wish they come up with digital paper soon enough.

Do you know if Painter IX is available for macs? After seeing this, I searched all of the internet with no luck.

I think it works on either mac or pc. I mean, the help even has mac shortcut keys side-by-side with the pc shortcuts.
