This is an updated version of a piece I did way back in 2004 or 2005.It wasn't approved for an artbook I submitted it to.
But oh well. Gotta do better. Enjoy!

Wha that's awesome. The concept isn't a foreign one, I actually think a flying chair was a premise for a really terrible british animated show. But this is amazing, the premise of breaking down the walls of the world around you and soaring away on adventure has been the most successful metaphor to describe imagination I've ever seen. The fact this premise is brought to life infront of me only adds a bigger smile to my lips.
