haha yeah I know what you mean. I watched the Battle Star Galactica movie again (the very old one from the 80s) and saw something shocking that I never noticed as a child.

There was a girl who was a human pretzel dancing on hands swaying her body back and forth in the background while Starbuck and the other guy were discussing serious Galactic matters.

Cool I've never seen any BSG, though I've heard vast reams of nerd-dom spouted. Is that the one with Alan Rickman with a lilac, tentacley head?

The best ancient TV fail I've seen was of a different kind though... I was watching Predator with my mum (which is far less scary when you can't actually see the details) on a small TV, but there were transmission problems, and up to the first commercial break the film was in the wrong aspect ratio. They fixed it during the break, and suddenly Arnie was the size of a house! He'd looked like a normal dude before!

Yes that glitch with Arnold is precious. I love mistakes like that.

Old gladiator movies about hercules and the mongols are full of hilarious errors... there were extras in the background during a fight scene that were just waving swords instead of actually acting a fight.
