So, there's this amazing book that I bought on a whim and happened to fall in love with the author. It is called Brokenhearted (www.amazon.com/Brokenhearted-A… ) by Amelia Kahaney and its sequel--which is ten times more emotional--is called The Invisible (www.amazon.com/The-Invisible-B… )

Not many books can move me to give them a full star rating but these two blew me away and I am now officially a fan. The tone is a lot like Frank Miller's version of Batman, but several fresh twists. The main character ends up becoming a vigilante superhero called The Hope and this is what I pictured her suit to look like even though she doesn't get far enough for a suit by the end of the first book.

Check it out if you love crying from being moved by characters and their emotions in a creative, epic superhero plot.
