Β Yes! I've been wanting to do more Rescue Bots drawings, and after seeing the double season 3 premier I got the feels for Optimus, so I had to do something.One of my favorite episodes is "Changes" from season 2, in which Optimus calls Heatwave to the mainland to take a third form. Heatwave has gotten over his sour feelings of not being on Optimus' team and has accepted the fact that he's a leader, but he still looks up to Optimus as his primary roll model (as many of us do Β ) and desperately strives to make him proud. It's one of the first times Heatwave actually takes a serious step in becoming more of a leader like Optimus. Also, I think Optimus feels he has a responsibility to lightly mold Heatwave into a good leader when he can.
It's a beautiful and sometimes frustrating master-student relationship to think about but I love to watch it evolve and I can't wait to see where it goes as the series continues.

this is one of my favorite renditions of Optimus Prime, he's dignified and a really good role model but he also has some great lines and interactions with the Rescue team. I'll admit it took me a bit to get into the show but now I'm in love with it, it shows the every day hero, not just the war against Decepticons like every other Transformers series and it has such likable characters, and it doesn't talk down to you...there's just so much to like about it, especially the season three premier episodes

That would be epic, but it would probably concentrate on their target audience instead of, you know, us :/ It'd be awesome if they raised the bar for that though and meet in the middle like the show does.

lol X) It's true that that show is kind of looked down upon by parents. My siblings and I weren't allowed to watch those kind of shows (incl. Spongebob) because my parents thought they weren't educational or good examples. Idk if that's true or not cuz i've never seen it O.O

What? Your parents let you watch Samurai Jack but not Courage? xP Ah well, I kinda figured as much, none of my Christian friends saw those cartoons except for one or two. (lol jk)
