Thank you! I love everything related to animation except actually doing it haha.
I actually take most of my inspiration from animation, I really love movement and unique simple and expressive styles, animation always provides that.
So yeah, you are totally right my work is heavily influenced by animation!

Yeah, its the one where you need to divide shorter side in two parts and the longer side in four, and places where those lines crosses are considered good for placing important elements around them. Started using this quite recently and its actually works pretty damn good.
