Though with that same reasoning wouldn't the females have the same underparts? And no mammary glands since they don't feed young like humans. This would also render the "All Trolls are Bi" manner of thinking moot. Or a least this is how it was after Doc Scratch screwed stuff up...
And what exactly is "genetic material?" It could be anything from hair, saliva, skin cells and...err...well you know. That could just be one way of interpreting the vague words AH used as he could have used it to avoid directly referring to baby juice or because, as stated earlier, it could be any form of genetic material.
Though they do have to fill buckets which would imply material in liquid form...
But what role does this play in troll foreplay that would make it a taboo object?

I don't really know what to think of Troll reproduction and quite frankly, I'm not sure we actually want to know. I like to believe they can use any kind of viable "fluid" that contains DNA such as blood and those you stated, but I really don't know and... well it doesn't really matter as far as Homestuck's plot goes honestly. I'm just guessing they would be anatomically different from humans, but I arbitrarily decide to refuse that females might have the same genitals as males because... BECAUSE. But my reasoning doesn't really make sense and well, I'm not trying to make sense out of it either.
I also always wondered why female trolls would have breasts? They're not mammals... not that I'm not completely okay with them having a nice pair but... y'know...

And it's possible that male trolls don't have external genitalia same way as reptiles, since they do look kiiinda like reptiles...
Female trolls having breasts could be put down to something like "they're for attracting a mate." since that is a, for lack of a better word "duty" of human breasts, along with feeding young (and controlling the weak minded) But for trolls it only serves as the former. Then what are horns for? It's largely just fanon that troll horns are erogenous zones buut...;
