The eyepatch freaked her out even more and she's got a puppet phobia. I don't mind him, I like Dirk's "relationship" with him its kind of cute and pathetic at the same time.

I'm thinking wood with that weird compact foam stuff that sometimes comes in packages as a cover so it's not just wood... I'm not exactly sure. But I'm definitely using the same chrome paint and then I'm going to use a spray varnish or something because the paint is coming off my pencil sword.

that sounds like a plan. I'm really terrible at making props though. Any kind of props. I just made some horns for a Sollux cosplay and I really, really hope they hold together ; 3;

well, since they're not tall horns I guess you could make them the way I made my Sollux horns. They came out pretty I just don't know how long they'll stay on the little headband thingy. I made a base out of aluminium foil, covered it up with model magic and gave them their shape, then once the model magic had completely dried gave them a good few layers of Mod Podge, painted them and finally spray varnished them. It took like 2 days overall. I hope that helps!
As for the hair yeaaaahhh... black is hard to take out once it's in :/

I know lol XD I ad black hair for a while. When my blonde roots started to come in, it looked like a bald spot in the right light. So We went to do chunky highlights to hide it and it came out orange. I looked like a tiger for a while lol X3 But I liked the tiger. I might do it again at some point :3

well fuck, I was 100% sure I replied to this and just realized that I hadn't while checking my comment box... so uuuh yeah sorry for the 2 weeks later reply! anyway Yeah I know what you mean, roots tend to look really odd when you dye a colour that clashes with your natural hair... I'm like somewhere between blond and orange right now and you can see my dark brown roots DX gotta fix that...

Yeah at different times though. We use the homestuck original mechanics a lot so we fucked timelines up pretty bad.
