What is that? Is that- some sort of glowing orb... It looks like a light.

"what the hell is that?" I squinted to get a better look at it, it kept no ring further away from where I stood. "Huh? Are you some sort of creature?" I chuckled. I could name it maybe... Yeah, I'll make it squishy. That'll work. "Hey squishy, get your ass back here. I wanna see what you are!" It began to move away from me. "H-hey get back here!"

"continue on yokai, I'm here with you." I looked around to find the source of this new voice but still saw nothing but the glowing ball of light. "Was that you?" I asked it. "No, that is only my guiding sprite. Follow it, yokai." The 'sprite' jerked forward and I had to run to keep up with it. "Who the hell are you!" I yelled, "show your face you coward!" I was now in a full sprint trying to keep up.

The sprite suddenly disappear before my eyes and I was surrounded by a thick looming darkness. Even with my enhanced vision I couldn't make out a thing of where I was. "Where the fuck did you go?!" A low chuckle could be heard behind me and I spun to the sound. "Ahhh, now I see you, right I front if my eyes. You are no normal human are you.... Hmm obviously not by the fact that you survived so far into the void. "QUIT PLAYING AROUND AND ANSWER ME!" I screamed, my rage was starting to get the best of me.

I heard the chuckle again, this time even closer. "We'll I suppose a proper greeting is due isn't it? I, am The Lord of Darkness, master of shadows, tamer of beasts, claimer of souls... My name, which you will soon come to know, is a marvelous thing. Capable of slaying demons by the near mention of it. I..." The voice paused. "Am master Zen..." "So? The name doesn't sound very special to me, sounds like a rip off name from one of those cheesy Japanese action movies." I scoffed at him, I was so annoyed at this point that I just wanted to get the hell out of this place. "Hey! Is there a back door or something I can use to leave!?" I called out impatiently. "FOOL." The voice boomed, hurting my ears and a small trickle of blood flowed out of my nose. "You will so know the punishment of your mockery towards me! But for now you will be spared, as you are of great importance to me. Do NOT forget this meeting. I will come to see you again." I laughed, who does this guy think he is? "Yeah yeah yeah, just get me out of here already." I replied to him in a bored tone. The small sprite popped up right infringement of my eyes, momentarily blinding me with its sudden luminance. "My guiding sprite will return you to your origin. Farewell, Yokai Kodomo..." The sprite started flashing like a strobe light, causing me to get dizzy and disoriented. "Hey! What the- cut that out!" But the sprite kept flashing faster and faster. "Sto- stop... That..." My vision got blurry and I slumped to the ground. That's the last thing I remember, before I woke up, totally fine in my bed the next morning. Images of sprites and darkness bounced around in my mind and I wondered... "What.. The hell... Was that!"
