is your paint really thick? do you add liquin or any kind of medium in it? I always used winston oils but find that it is way too consistent to be brushed easily and fast on the canvas which seem to be easy for you, even with liquin I either have the same result as its still to thick, or it becomes too transparent and unconsistent to achieve such finish. Any tips? oil paint brands that you'd recommend? I'd really appreciate it, as I appreciate such beautiful painterly style of yours. Excuse my english and best regards

Hi Mathieu, It sounds like you should push yourself to use more paint. I use often use fairly thick paint with some refined linseed oil as a medium. You could also try using some rougher materials. A surface with more texture will hold more paint and prevent your layers from getting too thin. A stiffer brush will have more strength to push paint further. Good luck.

Nice, I like how the face (the centre) is delt with bigger care while the enges finished with quick strokes, gives sort out blurry effect.
