This is two of my favorites things in life: birds and wine. I don't know a lot about painting technics, in fact, I don't know anything, but to me, your brush technic seems rough/harsh and yet it is very precise. I love your art. You are an amazing artist. Very talented.

That's how I always felt about still life. So when I was asked by a curator to do some of them I knew I had to add some interest to the typical still life.

Yeah, that's the feel I was intending, but it's actually a very careful and slow process. You can compare these still lives with the portraits that I do in 2-3 hours from life and you see there much less detail and many more unresolved issues in the portraits.
