The colors give me hope for the Spring to come too. I guess the bit of cold in the colors is like the last of the snow, clinging to the new Spring growth. It holds on tenaciously until the end of May here.

These colours are really of early spring, still having a bit of the cold to them, but blushing with the warmth to come! It has a luminous and hopeful ambience.

beautiful picture. oh we don't get real seasons in the UK anymore, you get a few cold days, a few wet days, a few very mild, then a couple of cold ones and so forth. the only seasonal change is maybe tempertaures but some days in December can be warmer than in April, climate change.

Thank-you! We don't really get four full seasons here. We have hot and dry from mid-June through the middle of October and snow until the end of May. That leaves two weeks of Spring. Our Pacific Northwest weather is more like yours. It's rainy or foggy, with a few days of sunshine sprinkled throughout the year. At least you have lush green foliage to show for all the moisture.

It was a pick-me-up too, after all this cold and wet. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
