Thanks for sharing, I am trying to learn cycles but it is trying on my patience. The conversion from xna (4_,5_,7_,24_,25_,26_, etc) is blurry for me. I will keep trying.

Try to copy the nodes from a previous work.
Or I could send you a .blend file with the nodes already added.

I copied nodes, created new nodes, changed them but nothing work. People said me that problem is due to .dds files.

LeonCray In reply to Taitiii [2015-06-05 04:52:36 +0000 UTC]
That's impossible, I always work with the .dds imagens and this never happened with me. How about to try with a previous blender version? The problem could come from the current version.

una duda como le hago para que el render final salga con mejor definicion? esque cuando hago el cycles render al final me salen unos puntitos blancos
π: 0 β©: 1
Rockeeterl In reply to IsmaelUchihaSan [2014-11-26 02:08:59 +0000 UTC]

how can I fix it??? u_u
π: 0 β©: 1
Rockeeterl In reply to LeonCray [2014-08-22 04:46:04 +0000 UTC]
That means that you choosed the wrong hair texture for the mesh part (that hair's part), so, if there's another hair texture try with it, if it doesn't work, make sure you linked Apha mode, you can see how to do it in the tutorial

Hey!
there was a weird node called Magic Texture, I don't know where the hell it came from... anyways, there's still a little shadow... look
are the nodes ok?

Try deleting the Transparency linked with Material Output and Soft Light, if it doesn't work, try with different hair texture, if the shadows persists try downloading another Ada model and test the hairs texture, the nodes are correctly added and linked, I don't know why that shadows, or try deleting Glossy, maybe is that node that's causing the shadow.

I tried all those steps...Β
the shadows doesn't dissapear..

Wow... well, I don't really know then.. have you followed correctly the tutorial?, try using another model, for example a Lara Croft model or Jill Valentine model and see if it happens with those models too, if it happens, then it's something that you're doing wrong.

LeonCray In reply to Rockeeterl [2014-08-26 21:43:08 +0000 UTC]
ok,,Β
I fixed it, Thanks!
So.. I have a last question.
Sorry if I'm annoying, but
How can I remove the double textures?
I used a model of Ada Wong with a Chinnense dress, so, how can I remove the double textures of it?

I didn't said nothing because I showed how to put mnibumps, there's no magic in putting minibumps is so simple.

Thanks, great video. This helps a lot.
One question if you don't mind. In regular Blender mode, the program picks up the textures automatically. Can that be done with Cycles ? I'm having a hard time trying to put each texture image into the right place. I'm very new at this rendering thing. Thanks!
π: 0 β©: 1
Rockeeterl In reply to NinjaFan999 [2013-06-19 19:28:32 +0000 UTC]
You know I really wish that Cycles could take the textures automatically, but instead you have to put all the textures manually, is not so hard, you just have to practice good luck!
