Description I like this game so much, I wanted to do some fan art on it since there are a few on Deviant Art, such as [link] and [link]

Famicom Detective Club 2: The Girl in Back is a text adventure/visual novel on Nintendo's Famicom Disk System, and was released in the BS title line up on the Super Famicom with better graphics and sound quality. You played as a teenage boy, who is a young detective, trying to solve a murder case that relates to a school/ghost/rumor story about the Girl in the back.

The girl on the right is Ayumi Tachibana, who helps the young detective out since she is friends with the girl, who got murder.

The story begins as a young 15 year old boy is searching for his parents late one night. As he searches, two men begin to chase him. He flees from them, only to be stopped by a competent looking man rounding a corner. The men catch up, and turn out to be police officers. Once they realize who the man is, they leave. The man reveals that he is a detective, and decides to take the boy in as his protegΓ©. A few months or so later, a young sophomore at Ushimitsu high school is found dead on the bank of the river. She is identified as Yoko Kojima. It is quickly deduced that she was murdered by strangulation. As he decides this, another freshman from Ushimitsu, Ayumi Tachibana, and a teacher there, Tatsuya Hibino, show up at the crime scene. Both are shocked and speechless at the sight of Yoko dead. So begins the mystery.

While investigating the murder, the two characters happen upon an old ghost story within the school. There seems to be a link between the story and the recent murder.

This ghost story is known by all in Ushimitsu. It is kept alive by teachers and students alike. It goes like this: One will be walking through the school's halls alone, when suddenly one will hear a girl sobbing. One will turn around and see a bloodsoaked girl in a highschool uniform standing there. She says "Help me...help me...!" She then disappears; she fades into thin air. Many claim to have heard her sobbing in empty classrooms and halls. A few have said to have seen her personally.

To me, its like a mystery and dating sim. If you show how much you liked Ayumi, you would get to see if she likes you back at the end of the game.

Finally someone else who ships Ayumi with the protagonist. I actually plan to LP this game after DK64, for several reasons including shipping. But first...what do you mean in the description by "show how much you liked Ayumi?" How is that done in the game?

Thanks for the comment and favorite. Yeah, there is not a lot of Famicom Detective Club artwork on Deviant Art and needs some love on here. Plus, it would be good for Nintendo to bring it back if it gets popular.
