Description
This is for a request made over 6 months ago by ~tonymcc , who asked me to draw Dee Dee from "Dexter's Lab," along with her friends Lee Lee and Mee Mee, as teenagers on the beach. As you know, artists like nothing better than to do free art for any random person who comes along.I don't recall ever agreeing to actually draw his request, but he came back the other day under the impression I had, and my best efforts to dispel that notion were unsuccessful, so after weighing my options, I decided maybe I could have some fun with this request after all.
~tonymcc wrote out a really exhaustively detailed list of what I should and should NOT draw, which he then instructed me to write down on paper so I wouldn't forget. Well, I didn't write them down and it's not like I have some magical ability to backtrack through the comments on my main page to see exactly what he said. So I might have gotten one or two tiny things wrong, but there's no possible way he could object, right?
EDIT: Guess what? ~tonymcc expressed displeasure with my interpretation of his request and even went so far as to suggest I draw it over again. Talk about ingratitude.

Well, thanks.Β In hindsight, it wasn't the most mature way for me to handle the situation; I probably didn't need to be such a jerk, even if the guy was a pest.Β I just get fed up with the way a lot of people ask for requests, and he was especially bad.Β

The figure drawing is cool on this one. Couple with the facial expressions (particularly Dexter who looks like he just shit a brick). It works quite well. I think Koos-Koos is rolling in his grave on this one though.
If the description is anything to go by, i respect you for going ahead with the piece anyway. But if you're working for free you should have told the guy to f*ck off if he's giving you lip.

I actually did eventually tell him to f*ck off, but only after he repeatedly failed to take a hint. Honestly, the only reason I drew this was in the hopes that Iβd annoy him by getting his request completely wrong. It was kind of a petty thing to do, especially since I think heβs not so much a jerk as he is an idiot, but his sense of entitlement and lack of propriety rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, this was a guy who got someone else to do a request for him, and then had the nerve to ask them to buy a new scanner so he could see the pic a little more clearly.

Yeah i know what you mean. I had similar problems when i was working on Get in the Ring where they kept faffing around not being happy with what they had when they could have done more to promote themselves. For my own part i think i mostly kept at it for artistic portfolio reasons as the subject matter was something new for me.
But boy did the editor need to learn how to talk to people. :E

It's titled "Science Gone Wrong" so there's a lot of reasons they have such muscles. It may be that they shouldn't have so many muscles but some people like strong women. Do some searches with "FMG" for Female Muscle Growth on Google with the safeties off or try a place like this.

I don't know; you'd have to ask the person who asked me to draw it. I guess he has a thing for muscular women?

I agree they probably should have ended the series with "Last But Not Beast," but I'm not sure what your problem is with the first season. If you're looking for advice on how to draw the characters, all I can think to suggest is studying the episodes.

my problem with the first season is because of allison moore's voice. no offense, but i didn't like allison moore's voice because it sometimes gets stuck in my head. i know allison moore did a pretty good job, but sorry about the character drawing. i could find a person who studies episodes and stuff.
