Finally switched over to inkscape!
Alright, so I guess you can say this is a "pilot" (durrhurr, get it, because RD is a pegasus?) model for my planned MLP blob series. Future models will probably be different from this design; found a few things that could be improved on.

as a somewhat budding paper model artist, would you tell me how you measure a curved line so that the adjoining piece fits and lines up correctly? I hope you don't use a 3d imaging program because I've tried and failed with that, lol. But right now I'm kind of stuck with resorting to straight edges because I can just measure them easily by the pixel on paint.net.

Don't worry, I don't use CAD software, either. Β The trick is to polygonize the curved pieces, divvying up the curve into a series of straight lines. Β Once you have those accounted for, it's really just a matter of counting.

Okay that's basically what I do when I have to. I hoped there was an easier way that didn't involve so much counting. :/ Thanks though.

Do you mean colored ink? Because I assure you, my models are designed for white cardstock.

other papercraft have like tabs or something
and so. i was wondering how you connected them pieces.

I don't do tabs, only because it provides most modelers with added flexibility when they build the model. You can simply make your own by cutting around the white space near the parts.
