Totodile: Infantry - young teens. Back in the earliest part of Reddy's life. He was a slave, hence his tattered rag of a shirt and his filthy filthy presence. Back in this time his name was Sharptooth. There is only fear existing in him at this point.
Croconaw: Young teens - young adult. Still a slave. Sharptooth has grown a little more of a backbone, but fear is still the strongest emotion he's got. Sadness and depression have accompanied him now. This is also the time in which he lost his eye in a failed escape attempt from one of his masters.
Feraligatr: Young adult - Present. The clothing Redscale has on are NOT the clothes he wore while enslaved. He still had on a tattered outfit. The version shown in this is that of the past five to six years of Reddy's life, during so he has adorned the name of Redscale. He's come rather far since his youth, fear and depression far from the stronger of his emotions. He's now a free, confident, strong, and brave individual that will do everything within his power to protect what he has. He's true to his friends, loyal, and very dependable. A father and now first mate, he's far from that little Totodile he used to be.
