That's where progress has reached at this point. Need to acquire some more 1/32 sheet balsa which bends like I want it too. Ordered some brass, aluminum, copper, telescopic tubing direct from K&S Metals since our little county seat farm burg has no hobby shop and my health is such that I can't drive the 65 mile round trip to the city, which doesn't have a hobby shop any more anyway, except one for miniatures games and supplies.
Yes, that is a lot of holes in the hull - remember, this thing will be free flooding & unlike how PRS-1 and Bobby's boat were built of balsa planks and slabs this one has frames which would trap puddles inside between them unless vents and drains were provided.

Plus, it is fun to say, "Yeah, I had to make sixty holes in my boat so it could work right."

Those 2 large holes forward are access points to where front of rubber motor loops will be anchored on a brass bar running across hull.

I don't know if it 'needs' a snorkel, but, yeah, that's supposed to be a snorkel behind the sail/conning tower/fin. Aluminum streamlined airplane strut tube over stainless steel tube.
