Wow! Right at the same angle. I got a bit lucky because the sun was setting right when I was in that area.
Isn't Venice fantastic? I actually bracketed the exposure, which I rarely do, because I really, really wanted to get the shot. It was by far the prettiest day we had in venice. I wish I could go back!

Did you ever go to Saint Elena? I stayed in a hotel there and the views from by the water were amazing, you could look over and see the sun setting over the buildings.

Thank you. I tried to get the sun behind the bridge so it wasn't too overpowering. I was a bit surprised I had enough light to get the bridge to be anything more than a silhouette.

It was pretty darn good straight out of the camera, but I did bump the saturation in photoshop and adjust the curves.

My fiancee was always rushing me, but occasionally I got interesting angles because I was in a rush--still, I would have liked to have just slowed down in a few of the amazing spots in Venice!
