I grew up with these guys, VeggieTales is my childhood!

I have noticed that Bob and Larry are similar to SpongeBob and Patrick, here are the reasons why:

Bob and SpongeBob both share the same name, and they're short.

Larry and Patrick are both tall, silly, and both have a bucktooth, and Larry shares the same name as one of the SpongeBob SquarePants characters.

Oh, and, not to mention, that, both of their shows are 90's shows, SpongeBob SquarePants released in 1999, while VeggieTales released in 1993.

SpongeBob SquarePants and VeggieTales are popular kids shows that became popular amongst 2000's kids, like me.

But there are also a few differences, as well:

Larry is somewhat more intelligent than Patrick is.

Bob is round, while SpongeBob is square.

Bob and Larry are food-themed characters, while SpongeBob and Patrick are sea creatures.

VeggieTales is a CGI Christian show, while SpongeBob SquarePants is a hand-drawn cartoon, lacking any religion in that show, whatsoever.
