im not joking or being funny
i think her character was supposed to represent a homosexual demographic without being stereotypical or obscene
and that was really cool of the shows writers
like when she says her skin is flawless or when she is so excited that her characters played by a guy among a million other subtle hints
and yes i realise this isnt toph i just wana get some opinions and see if other people agree with me

the ep wit the play was funny her character was the hulk but to be honest she did have the coolest character in the play but i see wot u mean

she really did think it was Sokka, Sokka yelled he was gonna come for her but before he had the chance, Tsuki dived in before him and Toph only assumed it Sokka due to previously sayin' he was coming for her, and being that Tsuki didn't say any thing, until Toph thanked "Sokka"
Tsuki tells her after the whole kiss and thank you, to which Toph got embossed and told her "oh.....you can go ahead and let me drown now..." not sure if I quoted that line right, but she really did think it was Sokka she has a crush on him, think she's got one on Zuko now though to..
