well this is a combination of Apophysis and photoshop. and its given some really interesting results in such a working method/ process. with this one more than anything i am pleased with how the colours turned out on the gradient

WOW, you are soooo good at this! I love this bug. I have wanted to create a fractal fish for some time now. This technique might work well. Now, if only I knew how you did this, I'd be all set.

i think i have a couple of fractal fishes lurking on here generally i see shapes in random batches in apophysis and tinker with them a little once i've rendered them i move to photoshop to finish the job ( GIMP works quite well for this too) i've started referring to these things as 'fractal collages' as they are often parts of one or more fractals put together

You have a real knack for this! Your images are so wonderful and cohesive. You certainly put them together well.

thankyou i was lucky with it - it was a lot duller but i adjusted the saturation a little more with photoshop and it really made this have a far better impact visually and reminded me more of the kind of iridescent shimmer some bugs and insects have

they are always happy accidents when it comes to fractals (or most the time they are!)
