Ok my starting point for this was a fractal by fellow deviant that can be found here [link] so many thanks to her for the starting point!!!!
essentially an apophysis image of hers an a couple of mine that i then took into photoshop just to finish

thakyou for the compliment - its tarted off as a fractal a friend made as she was just experimenting with apophysis for the first time - i saw this shape into it and she very kindly allowed me to create this manipulation with photoshop and by adding a fractal piece of my own to finish the hair and wings

sometimes it works better thanotehrs nas it dont always works - i choose to keep the less sucessful pieces hidden away until i cna think of soemthign to do with them to make them look good

Wow! This is one of my favorites that you've done. I wouldn't have seen that in the original. It's great to kind of be able see what others see in other pieces if you know what i'm trying to say lol. Outstanding work!

thankyou so much for the compliment and with a lot of my work its not always easy to see where i get the ideas from in the original starting point - one of these days i need to take some work in progress shots to show some of the stages of development of one of my pieces but i keep forgetting to take screenshots regular enough when i become absorbed in my work lol

It can be any piece in your gallery. From the oldest to the newest, anything is good. The only thing that is a little iffy is photographs, and that's because of the printing we have right now. Otherwise, everything is good.
