i think that's the charm of grumpy cat - glad i managed to capture a little of this in my fractal manipulation  

A friend suggested i try fractals in December 2008 but didn't tell me a thing about how to use Apophysis or anything so i muddled through and before i even knew how to render a fractal i was print screening and taking fractals into photoshop to work with - these days i render fractals that i find are interesting - usually from messing around with random settings and then work with them like a collage - so i confess i really don't always know what i am doing but its a method that seems to suit me my secret is out now haha! although i did make a couple of simple tutorials as to how i create some of my more basic fractal manipulations

I tried a little bit of fractals back in 2010, the lovely Platinus who was the CV at the time told me a bit about Apophysis and I wanted to try it out, but I really didn't get how it worked and decided to just drool over other people's fractals and admire from affar

Would love to try it again sometime in the future to see if I can understand it because it's really awesome! I'm glad you found a way to make it work for you

thats exactly how it all started with me and fractals - i couldn't fathom out how to make Apophysis work so i started moving outside the box, a lot of people still very much say my work is not fractal, but i don't mind what they call it  or id they love or loathe it - i enjoy making art thats the important thing

glad you like it - i kinda do a slightly 'out of the box' version of fractal manipulation, where I render the fractals I want then piece them together like a collage using photoshop or sometimes GIMP
