YAY! Another gift done!This one is a birthday present for . I love this girl, one that I do believe that I forced my friendship on. She told me that she wanted her favorite character from the play, Notre Dame De Paris, which is Esmeralda. I love this character in both the play and the Disney version, so I put the two together, added a lot of saturation, and came up with this. I'm rather happy with it!

I was thinking of sherbet while coloring it, and how much I wanted some, so I think it really came out in the picture.

Actually I love Esmeralda in all of her forms (the musical's, Disney's, the novel's...), but I wanted to see art from one of her most shadowed versions.
I love her pose and how you mixed all the colours so nicely! And the tambourine is a cute touch.

No, don't say that, honey. We're good friends, nothing of force. We met and discovered our similar hobbies and likes, and so, when that happens in other situations, people make friends.

I love her in all forms, too, and I think I kept her pretty close to the play adaption, with her hair and her dress and things, but after I finished with just that, she didn't look right, so I made her more Disney-esque.

I was so sad when she died. The last chapter always brings me to tears.
No problem! When I imagine my own Esmeralda I always try to mix from the others as well.

What's really ironic is that almost all the adaptations don't portray her death. (Except the 1959 version, and the musical...).
