(I know it doesn't look like terror would be imagined. But Krueger is deathly afraid of the water. Like, the idea of being in water brings terror out in him. So you can imagine how being IN the water would make him feel.)

The day was cold. It wasn't bitter and chill wind cold but that didn't much matter to the group that were out on their adventure. The ocean was close, and it was beginning to thaw enough for a little chilly swimming. Clouds hung in the sky, so the sun offered no warmth but few of them were bothered. They just wanted to stretch their legs. Even the fire pokemon that had attended seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Pele and Emma bounced along through the snow, their pawprints they left behind cracking them up as they went. "Look, look! I can make a snow angel!" Emma gleed, rolling onto her back, and twisting her body much like a puppy scratching it's back on fresh green grass. When she had done that a few times she bounced up from her position and looked down in pride. "See? I totally did it."
"You did!" Pele said, and bounced around it. She then threw herself to the earth, rolling in the snow to make one of her own. When she bounced up, her eyes turned to Krueger.

"Your turn, grumpy!" She gleed, but it earned her a glare from the dark houndour.
"Don't -call- me that." He grumbled, shaking his head. "And I don't feel like it. Rolling in snow is for ice pokemon, something we clearly arent." He wasn't admitting he was nervous about being out in the snow. But inside he was desperately trying to keep it from showing on the outsidde.

"Well then stop being grumpy. Easy solution." Pele teased, but then the group looked behind them. Crue and Venom were approaching. Venom was a scary pokemon. Someone that Pele and Emma liked to keep away from. They usually got along with Krueger but that was only because he was a perfect candidate for their little 'clique'.

"Aw did he not want to join in any of the reindeer games?" Venom asked, a fake pout on his features.
"Krueger I will never understand why you haven't started hanging out with us instead yet," Crue said with a shake of his head.

Krueger rolled his eyes, casting a glare back at the two. "They are my friends, got a problem?" He asked, and then stood from his seated position, ready to show his dominance and to defend himself.

"Oh chill yourself, pup." Venom said sharply, and rolled his red eyes. Though it was hard to tell, as he had no pupil or white of his eye to give it away. His glare just came off as annoyed, and unimpressed.

Duke rested in the water, enjoying the cold icy water that he swam through. Nitemare had used Fire Blast, warming up a bit of ice into slush. Duke had trilled happily at the gesture, and now was sitting near the bank.

"Come get me!" Pele yelled, taking off and the other two were right behind her. Krueger was even smiling, chasing her through the snow. Emma was right beside him, and they both looked determined in focused on their mission.
"I'm going to get her first!" Krueger boasted, and pushed himself faster.

Pele squealed, realizing he was almost near, and leapt the only place she had left to go, the back of the Lapras in the water. Once she got up there, her paws halted at his neck, keeping her from falling in. Emma, unthinking, leapt to catch the shiny houndour, but when realizing her error, she grasped one of hte spine on the Lapras's shell.

Krueger followed suit, but unlike the two girls, he was pushing himself so hard, that when he realized the error he couldn't stop himself and he topped over the head of Duke, and fell into the icy slush water. Coldness enveloped him, and the only thing he could think of to do, was howl his terror. Water. He hated water. What had he been thinking?

"Help him!" Pele called out, and Duke went to oblige. Though he was fin-palming himself that Krueger had let himself get so competitive in a little game. Krueger was still howling in terror, his cries sharp and quick. When Duke lowered his head to the water, Krueger grabbed hold of his horn and held on for dear life. Shivering and looking like a wet rat, Krueger was delivered back to shore.

Venom and Crue couldn;t contain their laughter, and howled their own hysterics. Krueger raced off back to the ranch, cold and terrified..Even a little humiliated.
