Finished watching the first part of Roots and holy crap I am still recovering. Emotional stuff folks.

Anansi is a thing in Beanstalked...more of a god actually. He knows every single moment going on in anyone's life simply because he reads it in the book designated to the character. He also knows every single character's ending, although it sometimes changes if the character makes a decision. He has three more pairs of eyes but these remain hidden.

Scheherazade and Mother Goose are both also god like figures. Scheherazade created the 1000 Nights, which Anansi also watches over as they are now stories, and Mother Goose created Nursery Rhymes.
