I'd go for holy water, not sure how much a band-aid works against bodily possession by... whatever that was.
Also, I love that you make Jack get tired, like, it's not an effortless magical ability, logical and not making him OP.

Welp a weapon like that sort of runs off your energy. Since this is the first time he's ever used it, the effects are going to be a pain for him to deal with.
