I really thought that this was her canon outfit the entire time. I should consult my references more.Since I already drew Meiling in Sleeping Dragons wearing this the entire time, I'll be sticking with this throughout the entire comic. It's easier to draw anyway.

I've always preferred Hong Meiling with pants to be honest, cause I always liked those poofy white pants she has.

Saw this picture somewhere else and had to track down the source. Meiling's not my favorite character, but I like how you drew her here. The outfit is great even if it isn't one she wears in canon, and someone else beat me to complimenting your shading. I like the expression.
Someone else mentioned that she has a masculine face, but I think that's a good thing. It gives her some individuality. ZUN's drawings of the girls all seem to have the same face, with different coloring and accessories, so it's a nice change to see a Meiling that is more "handsome" than "generic pretty".
Overall, a great picture.
