Digital drawing in Photoshop, from an original pencil line art on grey Canson paper. The more I work in digital format, the more fun I am starting to have. Granted I am still light years away from where other, more experienced digital artists are, but I'd like to think that I am making progress. The subject matter for this work was inspired, both from another digital illustration I came across in Pinterest (also involving a girl and a cat but in a different setting and time) and from my personal experiences of having my morning coffee in cafes before going off to work, particularly on bright sunny mornings. The cat on the table was my attempt at whimsical humour as the bemused girl looks on while enjoying her coffee.
