"I'm a mountain fox," Mikkel said. "White is the only right color in this snow. Later in the summer, when it melt, I loose my fur and get a new, which is grey. But your fur have a really nice color, I must say."
Then suddenly Hugo and the elf showed up. They had climed down, to see if Rita had been hurt in the fall. The elf went right away to Mikkel and asked if he knew the way to Santas castel.
Mikkel look astonished at the elf and Hugo, who still had the elf-Gákti(sámi clothing) on. "You to are also red", he said. "That is a dangerous color to have here in the snow."
Hugo was just about to ask, what Mikkel ment by that, when he heard a noise behind him.
It was a great icebear, that had sneaked in on them, without they noticing. It was no time to escape, because they stood on a narrow cliff hill. Under them it went straight down, over them was a cliff that was slippery and straight.
The icebear likk around his mouth. It came slowly nearer. I had good time, because it saw, it prey had no way to run.
The sound of a high snap was heard. The Icebear turned around after the sound. A little arrow of anaesthetic had hit his neck. It did not hurt, but it apparently enoyed the bear. It tried in wain removing it with it's paws. '
