As a kid I was first heavely inspired by Disney. Started with Donald Duck, then with Robin Hood 1973(I guess that have not stopped), then I found Yerf and saw drawings from artist miles ahead of me, which inspired me to try drawing a little more realistic.
Even though practice make master, I never got there. I have always felt that my drawings turned out a bit stiff. There was also a periode I kinda gave it up. I had no ispiration, I did not want to draw the same thing over and over again.
My sudden return now have been my story Wight people. Finally having a story to tell have given me a "carrot" to continue drawing 
I hope to make the story and the characters more and more fleshed out in time

Anyway, my drawings are still stiff so, theres nothing to worry about for you for sure.
Then again, i dont really get very often along to draw something. *g*
Still impressed that you need 'only' about an hour to draw and colour a headshot of your char.
