I think that's what I like about Krillin and 18, though. 18 fell in love with Krillin as a person, as opposed to just his looks or whatever.

If Vegeta killed Cell, his ego would have built up even more, making him far worse. He would have never learned how meaningful his son is to him, he would have never connected to Bulma, and his rivalry with Goku would have just kept on building up. Vegeta became a 100% good guy when KID BUU was defeated.
And "cyber sex" is not why he Krillin destroyed the device as funny as that line is, you shouldn't take everything DBZA says at face value. Yes they made the story better, but not everything is perfect or accurate. Goku isn't a complete dumbass in the original show, for example.
And as you said, people blame Vegeta for what happened... So, yeah, it's both Vegeta's and Krillin's fault. Again, TFS points this out and calls them both out for it. At least Krillin CARED about someone else's life. Vegeta's reason was that he wanted to feed his own ego.
Which of the two comes off as worse? The guy who cares about the life of one person, or the guy who cares about showing off because of his unrestrained arrogance?

I didn't say you shouldn't watch it. Hell, I love DBZA. I think they improved the original with some of the changes they've made. I'm just saying that you shouldn't take everything they say at face value, that's all.

3. Well, those examples were from when he was a kid in Dragon Ball, living in the mountains by himself. In DBZ, he's gotten considerably more intelligent. Not as much as an average citizen, and he was still a goofball, but he wasn't completely imbecilic as he is in DBS.
4. Are you referring to Vegeta? At that point he had gotten so powerful that he didn't care about 18 anymore. Of course, you could argue that letting Cell chase after 18 was him getting back at her, but I honestly think he just moved on from his fight with 18. He's stronger than her and he knows it. Cell was the bigger threat at that time, so he wanted to prove his superiority by beating Cell.
