I can only imagine how hard it is to make these, with thinking not only about looks but also about what to add to it, a spring here, a battery there, it not only looks good, but has to look like it actually works, making mechanical art like this pleasing on multiple levels besides looks.

I'd always be scared that my fingers would get crushed wearing one of those. It seems like an engineering problem how one wouldΒ strengthen the individual fingers without crushing them under the weight of whatever it is you'd try to lift.

I kinda like the idea of the star craft armour, the hands of the suit isn't actually where your hands are. Your hands are in fact in the arms of the suit, controlling the armours hands remotely. That way there is no risk of your fingers getting crushed in any hydraulics.
