After I went and did ID 01 for =CleonCrusade , I wanted to try something with Maya. Then I remember - PLE likes to pimp Autodesk Maya with a lotta frickin' text. All over the rendered picture. Bleah. (probably has some way of fixing, but methinks it'll take a while to find...)

So what's a guy to do? Back to Illustrator, yo...!

Whole thing was an on and off thing, 'specially round the handle and any rounded shizzle that can't be settled with just a few lines. The hardest of the lot was the chain links (which I ended up cheating for anyway *wtfshoot self nowplz* ).

After I finished giving everything a thickness, I decided to stylize it a little. Thank ye, Gradient, Lens Flare and Filter options. Me love you long time.

...think I was gonna just send a copy over to CLC and leave it at that, but I promised the old guy I'd submit a copy into my account this time around - something about giving people space for feedback, methinks ( and another place for adding the favorites to; sorry if I inconvenienced ya guys down at CLC, yo! ). Meh...

All line art was done in Adobe Illustrator CS3 before transfer to Adobe Photoshop CS3 for addition of text and special effects before converting to JPEG.
