This comic has me very confused, I'm not even sure if I like it.
The entire fight felt like a Tom and Jerry fight, where the comedy comes from the violence, but then we see Erma getting stabbed in the Erma and crying like it hurts.
The humor in Tom and Jerry comes from the violence, but Tom and Jerry didn't have gore, and the characters didn't have realistic reactions to pain, this would be like if Tom stepped on a nail and started rolling around on the ground holding his feet while he cries and screams in agony.
Usually when Tom reacts to pain it's in a very exageratted way, but there's nothing particular exageratted about Erma's reaction to being stabbed, it seems like how an actual person would react.
So what am I suposse to feel in this comic, am I suposse to laugh at Erma's pain?
Am I suposse to feel sorry for her?

You are notΒ supposedΒ to laugh at Erma because this whole comic isn't like Tom and Jerry nor Happy Tree Friends at all, although there is a little bit of comedic element.
I hope she will be okay, though.
