Legend of Zelda by NintendoBit of a collab project, here.
Was supposed to be just me and 2 schoolmates spreading the work evenly, but it became a mess until Micha thought it would be funny if the artstyle constantly changed during the cartoon, and yeah, that was pretty fun.

Anyhow, to answer you question, nah... when I was that age, the only comic books I was allowed to have were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the goofy Archie ones, not the violent Mirage ones).Β I didn't discover Image comics until about junior high or so, because a friend of mine had some of them.Β However, that was around the time anime/manga were becoming popular with my age group, so that overshadowed most other comics for me.
