I was printing out pictures to use as reference for a drawing of some of my characters playing musical instruments when I came across this great Asian painting (or, at least part of it) of a man playing the flute. He was my model for the guy in this drawing (I named him Noir; partly because of his hair color, partly because of his expression ^_^ ) The rest of it just followed, I guess. The woman's name is Aria...just because she looked like an Aria.
