Thank you and I'm glad you agree with the stamp and value life. I don't personally believe someone has to be vegan to be pro-life, nor do I believe the claims about people who aren't vegan, so don't worry.
If her and my conversation frustrated you, keep in mind that everyone sees things differently and has reasons for what they believe and how they act and people can and do change.

Yeah, I don't like insects either. Notice how the stamp has plants and animals but no insects? But, the are a number of insects that I know are actually necessary to the natural processes in plant life by breaking down decaying materials and converting it into nutrients and we all need plants to breathe, so I guess we have to accept insects for now. Maybe not like them, but tolerate them.

Some people call "pro-life" whose strictly against abortion. That's wrong IMHO. I'm stronlgy pro-life, but:
1- I don't hate any pro-choice people, I strongly respect their opinions;
2- I support abortion only in extremely severe cases. For example, serious risk of death for the mother. Apart from this, I think abortion is genocide (murder);
3- Animal and vegetable life suffers from serious risk of death in this extremely polluted planet because we, humans, and our bad industrialized systems, just for the sake of gaining profit regardless of the damage.

Many people have abortions because they can't provide for a child and many who choose to have children struggle to support them. Therefore, I believe being pro-life should include supporting all life, such as providing affordable or free access to birth control for people who don't want to or can't afford to raise kids or just don't want them to suffer, make sure people know that most babies are immediately adopted so that women don't think that a baby they give birth to and put up for adoption is going into foster care, offer financial aide to the poor, etc. There are many ways where people can apply pro-life to all life.

Most pro-lifers I've met both online and in real life have been very aggressive and unkind people, but this stamp is beautiful and I can tell from your comments below & your other stamps that you're a good person because you condone love, forgiveness, appreciation and respect, rather than attacking and shaming people <3

Well, I've found that a lot of pro-lifers aren't very vocal about their views, which sadly means that it's those who are so vocal because they have a need for others to agree with them that people often hear. I try to be understanding of their zeal and I supoose it comes down to passion and anger is passionate. But I believe love can be just as passionate and in fact should be. How is valuing life compatible with attacking and shaming people? I don't believe it is. Loving everyone and treating them with respect is. So, I tell people what I believe and exactly why. I've found it's far more effective than yelling at people, and definitely less hypocritical.

Well I think it's a really good thing that you're on here openly stating and explaining your views and beliefs despite how some people might disagree. I totally agree that it's a much better way than to yell at people or attack them, and I imagine that it definitely would be more effective. I've generally disliked pro-lifers in the past because of the uglier sides of the movement (eg people saying abortion should be punishable by death, or that it should be illegal even if the birth would kill or seriously harm the mother, and the extreme few who do things like bombing abortion clinics) but your brand of pro-life - one that respects and appreciates all life - is something I absolutely respect.

This stance of yours marks us as not merely "friends" or "co-workers" but as allies in the same cause: a true crusade, the only one worth ever engaging in: protecting innocent human life from conception to natural death!
Also, in no case whatsoever do we as humans need to feed on oneanother- that's repulsive to the core! (I'm talking about the actions, Sir.)
However, it behooves me to say that animals are anything *but* respectful of oneanother, but we humans can and should be- even when soldiers have to kill enemy combatants they have to respect them as human beings- it's not "I know you're not human anymore", it's far more "We're on opposite sides in this, and it's literally a "kill or be killed situation", if I don't dispatch you to the next world, you'll do the same to me, my colleagues, or the civilians on my side- and I can't let that happen. As a human to another human he's fighting against, I haven't anything against you as a person besides that; but this's self-defense and defense of another on both our cases..." Think Star Trek Balance of Terror for a soldier's viewpoint in a war situation between Kirk and the Romulan Commander- they are combatants for their countries on opposite sides in an interstellar "mini-war" as it were- and as people, neither of them had anything in particular personally against the other... it was merely a situation nobody really wanted to be in but soldiers wind up in.
Oh, and for my concept of "ally", its far from the, as I call their cause "degenerate" viewpoint, it's literally "we work together in the same cause" kind of deal- as if we're "in the same starfleet" (in science-fiction stories; co-workers.)... I hope that helps you to grasp my viewpoint, Sir, so as to avert any conflict and misunderstanding.
I know you're a strong man, when it comes to character, and mono-a-mono I respect you for that, as well as your moral standards- very highly, especially what I call one's "preternatural defense skills" (debating); and for those I salute you, man-to-man... and I'm talking platonically- I tell you that to avert freaking you out.
Misunderstandings can and will happen, but we don't have to *let* them dominate us to the degree that we cannot talk to our neighbors.
All in all, killing members of our own species prior to birth is effectively treason against humanity, hence a crime against humanity; same with legalizing it: that in and of itself is a crime against humanity, and any and all nations that even allow that act of mass-murder have to be punished for crimes against humanity, via at most merciful Nuremburg-style trials, but the entirety of the government being tried, and at best- effectively "Cardassian-style trials", wherein literally in that case the accused (here the state) is automatically guilty, and will be executed no matter what, not merely that, but for the mass-murder of innocents, the accused (state) will testify against itself- and only the testamonies against the accused (here the state) are acceptable.
Only thing in the world I'd object to that about is that it'd cause Christ to sympathize with the state in that case- and I, for one, do NOT want any mercy for the states that even permit the mass-murder of the unborn citizens who're entrusted to their protection... that's treason by the state, and behooves the death penalty for the state, no matter what!
Sincerely your colleague in the matter of protecting unborn human beings;
Adalack.

True pro-life is veganism. Humans are natural herbivores and NO animal is "meant" to be eaten. Veganism is a lifestyle of peace and compassion. Can't be pro-life if you still cause the pain and suffering of someone somewhere.
And, actually, you CAN make cats live on a plant-based diet. Many must due to allergies, or other medical reasons mostly caused from domestication. Do more research on that. yOu can check out my Educational Journals I wrote on the subject to learn more.
Why God Tells Us to be VEGAN in the Bible“God blessed them and said to them, “… Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground”. Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground – everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food. And it was so.”
— Genesis 1:28-30
God gave us PLANTS to eat and told us to be stewards of the animals. A steward is defined as "an official appointed to supervise arrangements or keep order at a large public event, for example a sporting event." I have already discussed pet overpopulation, dog breeds, AKC, breeders, and some training, so check out that journal for more information if you haven't yet. If there something I haven't covered in this journal it's probably in that journal. And if you have more questions on pets, feel free to ask me.
Diet:
Domesticated canines are omnivores and felines are carnivores. Due to the severe inbreeding of domesticated dogs, most have food allergies, sensitive bellies, and inability to digest their "natural" food. Domesticated canines need to eat food with plenty of plants in it to not only make it easier for them to digest, but also ensures they get all the nutrients
The Reality of MeatMeat: The flesh of a person's body. The parts of an animal's body, primarily muscle, that is often consumed for food. The food source for omnivorous and carnivorous species throughout the globe. But is it actually for humans?
The short answer to that is "no." Humans actually are not meant to consume animal flesh, just as we are not meant to consume dairy or eggs, which I discuss further in other journals. Meat is not meant for humans for several reasons: The first being that humans simply are not physically designed to consume flesh, secondly because of the immense cruelty involved, and thirdly the destruction of the planet. In this journal I will concentrate on just the meat industry and how it abuses animals and the harm meat does to our bodies. Other journals will cover the environmental issues of animal agriculture,
Dairy is NOT for Humans!Milk: An opaque white fluid rich in fat and protein, secreted by female mammals for the nourishment of their young.
Milk is produced by all mammalian female animals who have given birth to their young. Depending on the species and how much the offspring is nursing will dictate for how long the mother will lactate and how much she will produce. Enzymes within the baby allows them to break down the milk, helping them get all their nutrients until they are developed enough to consume other food sources. Different species produce different types of milk, which aids in ensuring their baby grows the proper amount at the right pace. Mothers have been found to even produce different types of milk depending on the sex of their offspring. Milk also contains antibodies from the mother that helps to protect the baby by giving them an extra immune system boost (although it is not as strong as vaccines). Milk contains puss, blood, lipids, and other bodily fluids and nutrients from the mother. Nursin
Eggs Simply Are Not For HumansEgg: an oval or round object laid by a female bird, reptile, fish, or invertebrate, usually containing a developing embryo. The eggs of birds are enclosed in a chalky shell, while those of reptiles are in a leathery membrane.
Eggs are found in almost all animals, from the eggs laid by birds, reptiles, fish, and platypus, and the eggs that are not laid by mammals and other animals. Eggs are an integral part of the reproduction cycle and are only found in females and hermaphrodites. Without eggs, most species would not be able to reproduce.
Bird eggs are most often consumed by humans, but some other animals may have their eggs consumed to fish and even reptiles, but for this journal we will concentrate on birds, primarily chickens. Birds, like other animals, lay their eggs after mating and care for them as needed until they hatch. They then raise their young, teach them everything they need to know, and then leave them to live their own lives.
But, sometimes an egg is not fertilized. Whe

If you don't believe the Bible then don't discuss it. But all translations of the Bible God tells us to not eat or harm animals or each other.
Why God Tells Us to be VEGAN in the Bible“God blessed them and said to them, “… Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground”. PETA puts down sick animals. They do not kill healthy animals. The myth that PETA kills healthy animals was fabricated by carnists who hate animal rights. PETA is just one of hundreds of animal rights groups. If you don't like PETA go look up one of the many other animal rights groups.

As for your comment regarding milk...
Milk: An opaque white fluid rich in fat and protein, secreted by female mammals for the nourishment of their young.
Nursing also builds a stronger bond between the mother and her offspring, and creates trust. A baby nursing from their loving mother is a beautiful sight regardless of species. Something created for those two to share for the time required until the baby can be weaned.
Milk is for a baby and only babies, but for some reason humans have taken to drinking it even after being weaned and their bodies developing to no longer being able to process it. Worse, humans are taking milk from other species.
Dairy, no matter the form it comes in whether as the liquid, in baked goods, as cheese, yogurt, icecream, etc. is always milk and contains all the puss, blood, and animal protein inside of it. Regardless of what species it is taken from, when you are not the infant of that lactating mother, and especially if you are already weaned, consuming milk is catastrophically detrimental to your health.
While dairy is a primary cause of climate change, it is also the source of horrific abuse and many illnesses within humans. In order to produce milk, the cows, does (female goats), or any animal must have had a baby. The dairy industry exploits the female reproduction system by using artificial insemination. This practice of raping the females begins by taking semen from the males of the species. Bulls in the dairy industry are bred and raised in a separate location from dairy farms. The bulls are kept locked in small pens, often chained. They can't turn around, are often beaten, and receive no attention or time outside. They are let out only to be made to mount a fake cow or another bull. Their penis is placed into an artificial vagina to collect their semen when they ejaculate. They are never allowed to mount females because the constant mounting and humping would cause a female to receive hip damage. A bull is stronger and can handle far more mounting. Handjobs are given to the bulls and other male animals to ensure they are properly stimulated.
The semen is kept frozen and sorted before being delivered to the dairy farms. Metal tubes are forced into the vaginas of cows, does, and other female animals, placing the semen inside of them. The females are restrained with chains, ensuring they can't escape as they are violated. The animals struggle, not consenting or enjoying the feeling. It hurts, especially with cows who have an entire arm shoved down their anus to open up the cervix.
The females become pregnant and are forced to live in often filthy and tight conditions throughout it. When they finally give birth, it is in the same gross location with urine and feces covering the ground. Their babies are taken from them immediately after birth or up to a week later. Calves are taken to become veal, and babies from other species used for dairy are killed for their flesh or simply thrown out to die. The veal industry is a direct consequence of the dairy industry.
Veal calves, who are all males, are taken to farms where they are locked away in small crates and often chained. Their movement is restricted, ensuring their muscles do not properly develop so their flesh stays soft. They are killed a week to two weeks of age, often suffering horrible abuse, neglect, and left to the harsh elements if kept in outdoor hutches. They are either killed by being sent to a slaughterhouse, or are stomped on, shot in the head, or simply neglected.
The mothers and daughters don't fair any better. Female calves and kids will be forced to live out the same lives of their mothers. Dairy cows have been genetically manipulated to produce far more milk than they naturally would. This leads to udders much too large and causing pain, illness, and inability to walk. Cows and goats are kept in crowded, filthy conditions, being forced to defecate and urinate in the same place they eat, sleep, and walk. They are covered in sores, often injured from self inflicted stress wounds, and in pain from being beaten by workers. Fire is used to burn off the extra hair on the udders, which hurts and singes the cows' legs often. Horns are sawed off with a chainsaw or cut off with powerful tools. This caused immense pain since there are blood vessels that run through the horns.
Dairy animals are kept pregnant constantly to ensure they are always producing milk. Pregnancy and labor puts the body through a lot of work, changing hormones dramatically, and causing illness. Due to this, the abuse, and the antibiotics pumped into the animals to ensure they do not become diseased, dairy animals often are too ill to walk. These animals are referred to as "downers" in the industry, and receive even worse treatment, sometimes being moved around roughly by a forklift. While cows can live to be 20 and goats to 18 years, in the dairy industry they are often killed around 3-5 years old due to not producing as much milk from being so worn down.
The animals are then tightly packed into trucks and sent to die horribly at slaughter, which I will go into more detail about in an upcoming journal.
Dairy is simply not meant for humans to consume. Even if milk can be taken from an animal without harming them, the fact remains it harms us. Animal protein has been found to be a leading cause of many illnesses in humans from cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. Dairy also contains high levels of estrogen, which causes adult females who drink it to develop breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bad menstrual cycles, and other health concerns. Men develop enlarged breasts, and eczema, severe acne, migraines, skin conditions, osteoporosis, and many more illnesses result. Milk has been found to actually cause brittle bones rather than strong ones. While milk is often stated to be high in calcium, the opposite is true. Calcium is best taken in from plants such as kale, broccoli, soybeans, spinach, kelp, collard greens, and many more. Here are more health concerns on dairy.
There is a chemical inside of all milk called casomorphin that caused a nursing baby to become addicted. This ensures that the baby keeps nursing and nursing a lot so they grow up quickly. When an adult consumes this chemical, they become addicted all over again despite being weaned. Thus,
literal cheese addiction. This addiction causes many to pause at the thought of going vegan when the solution is simple: Stop consuming dairy products and in 2-3 weeks the addiction will be completely gone. With plant-based alternatives to everything, it's easier than ever to ditch dairy and still eat yummy food!
While dairy is bad for our health, the planet, and for the animals themselves, we mustn't forget that cows, goats, camels, and other animals exploited for their mammary secretions are sentient. Bovines, domesticated from the Aurochs, are playful and smart as canines. They have strong social bonds, hold grudges, have friends, love to cuddle, and are very clever at figuring out how to escape from gates. Goats are curious, hyperactive, love attention, and enjoy being played with. Every animal is an individual who thinks and wants to be loved. No one should be exploited when we simply don't need to.
Animal rights and humans rights are connected, and the issue of feminism plays strongly when discussing dairy. Feminism is about the equality of males and females, and nothing exploits the female reproductive system more than dairy. The entire industry is built on using what only females can produce, which is milk. Dairy exploits and abuses the vagina, uterus, mammary glands, and motherhood. A mother is raped, her baby stolen from her, and forced to live having the milk produced for her offspring taken away to be given to someone else to get sick off of. To claim to want equality between male and female while also promoting the female body to be used as a commodity and slave is hypocrisy. In order to have respect for the female body of one species, respect for ALL female bodies must be achieved.
Dairy is on the decline as more become aware of the abuse and the negative effects on the body and planet, and thus dairy is losing money fast. It losing so much money that the dairy industry has been taking government bailouts in the USA in order not to completely crash. The tax money of US citizens is used to purchase cheese that is thrown away. Dairy uses up much of the Earth's resources due to the need to feed millions of cows every year. The expense of dairy is an astronomical waste of money, water, food, and land.
You can still eat all your favorite foods without dairy. There are numerous plant-based milks from almond milk, coconut milk, rice milk, hazelnut milk, cashew milk, soy milk, oat milk, and many more. They all can be drunk straight, used in baking, turned into yogurt, icecream, cheese, and many other goodies. It is all delicious, healthy, compassionate, and saves the planet. Some websites to help find alternatives are here, here, and here.
I personally suggest trying "So Delicious" icecream/yogurt/cheesecake, "Smart Balance" butter, "Daiya" cheeses/pizza, and "Earth Balance" mac 'n' cheese/cheeseits/cheese puffs/butter. But, there are many, MANY more dairy free options to choose from if you don't like those. There are recipes online, and joining vegan groups on facebook to find more products, tips, resources, and recipes is a great idea as well.

And animals do not have the same rights as us. Ism not saying all that you said about cows and goats is not true, because I know it is, but animal are not our equals. You are not tasked with taking care of an equal, but a lesser. Someone or something that is weaker than you. And saying that the whole dairy industry is some monsterous thing is like saying all white people are racist, all black people are a part of a gang or have been, and all Muslims are terrorists. It’s stupid.
And plant milk is not real milk. Milk is produced by a lactating female mammal. Plants cannot lactate, and they are not even animals, let alone mammals.

I won’t get upset. I shall just walk away. Gah O.C.D.! Orangutans were discovered to be omnivorous when video of one catching and eating a catfish was caught as part of a nature documentary on them. But when it comes down to it, I would have a harder time killing another human than I would any animal. And I never said that animals don’t feel. But think about it this way. A wofl doesn’t feel any guilt about killing a deer, does it? And again. The meat industry aren’t all monsters. Saying they all are is wrong. It’s rude and cruel to the people that aren’t like that. And I have said and done nothing hateful. You however have been nothing but hateful, to me, and to other people who you don’t even know. Humans ARE animals and we are ALL equals. Human rights and animal rights are CONNECTED. Would you kill a cow yourself? Would you kill a dog? No, because you know they are alive and feel that pain. They suffer and die just as we do. Humans are not omnivores, we are herbivores and consuming animals harms us, the planet, and of course the animals. And if you actually read my journals you would understand that NO mother produces milk for the adults of another species. Mothers produce milk for their babies and their babies ONLY. Once the baby is weaned that's the end of it. But, you are taking the puss filled milk from another species even after being weaned and no longer producing the enzymes necessary to process milk. Also, if you actually looked at the links in my journal you would see how the FDA allows puss and other gross things to remain in the milk, meat, and eggs.
Plant-based milks are called milks because they take the place of what people usually use dairy milk for in baking, in cereal, etc. Same with how fake meats are still called "meat" even if they are not actual dead, rotten flesh.
Seeing how you are a nasty, hateful, animal abusing monster, I will be forced to block you and inform the owner of this deviation that you are attacking people. Rogue-Ranger , you either should block or remove his comments before he insults and hurts others.
And before I go, here is more truths.
As here is my journal on meat:
Meat: The flesh of a person's body.
Other journals will cover the environmental issues of animal agriculture, the dairy industry, and the egg industry.
Humans are not designed to eat flesh or any animal products. Our physical built is proof of this from our short, blunt teeth, circular moving jaws, inability to swallow large chunks, weak liver secretions, long, lumpy walled intestines, lack of claws, and no prey drive. Humans are incapable of hunting prey without using tools of some short. Humans also lack the desire to hunt for prey. Children are taught to see animals as food, but even this takes time. Children cry when they learn animals are killed, and rather not eat them. If a child is placed in a room with a rabbit and apple the child will always play with the rabbit and eat the apple, never the other way around. And when children are conditioned to view animals as a food source, this brings about specieism. Specieism is when one species, such as dogs, are viewed as "friends" while other species, such as pigs, are viewed as "food." Children grow up loving dogs and many other species, but for those few select species will see them as "food," but even then most of the time know it's wrong to harm them. Depending on the culture a child is raised in will change the animals they are taught to love and those they are told to hate. Which, if eating animals was natural for humans wouldn't lead to these extreme differences. Humans would have natural prey animals that would be universal for all humans instinctively. Just as every house cat knows that the scent of a mouse, rabbit, or bird is prey, but when smelling a canine, horse, or elephant know that that is not something to seek after. Not even our ancestors ate meat or if they did it was very little.
The argument that human canines are meant to tear flesh is utterly ridiculous. Human teeth in comparison to actual carnivores such as lion teeth, shark teeth, and leopard seal teeth, which are all true carnivores. Omnivorous animals have teeth such as bear teeth, canine teeth, chimpanzee teeth. While herbivorous animals have teeth such as horse teeth, orangutan teeth, and pacu fish teeth. Human teeth are closest to herbivorous animals. Canines are found in almost all animal species who possess teeth, even bovines. And some herbivorous species possess very massive canines such as gorillas, fanged deer, and hippos. Nothing about human mouths is meant for meat eating.
The long, lumpy walled intestines of humans is similar to other herbivores, allowing vegetation to slowly be digested and nutrients absorbed. While carnivores and omnivores have smooth walled, and short intestines to get rotten flesh out quickly before it can begin to rot. Human livers secret weak enzymes like other herbivores since breaking down vegetation is easier than meat. Carnivores, such as cats, secrete such powerful enzymes that if they do not eat after a period of time their enzymes will begin to break down their own organs. Humans are best built for picking plants and consuming them, rather than any animal products.
To top this, science continues to show us how animal products cause several severe illnesses in humans from cardiovascular disease, various cancers, diabetes, and many other illnesses, as well as bacteria causes diseases from consuming infected flesh. Meat consumption causes numerous illnesses. Animal products have been linked to 70% of illnesses in humans. The causes of the illnesses is from the human bodies inability to properly process animal proteins, the high hormone levels, and other body chemicals found solely in flesh. The bacteria caused diseases are also very high. The risk of developing cancer from meat consumption is almost a guaranteed promise. Dr. Greger's presentation gives much more information on the reasons why animal products harm our bodies like this.
Humans are not made to consume meat and it harms our bodies, as well as the planet. Now, the real victims of the meat industry are the animals being eaten. Bovines, chickens, pigs, turkeys, geese, ducks, dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, goats, fish, turtles, frogs, lobsters, crabs, octopuses, dolphins, whales, horses, and deer are the most common species consumed by humans, but almost every animal species is at risk.
Animals are raised on factory farms, which lock them away in small pens, often chained. They are unable to turn around, living on metal grates and their own feces. Pigs are especially subjected to the life of gestation crates, where they will live for up to 6 years being constantly bred until they can't produce anymore. While pigs can live to be up to 15 years old, they are sent to slaughter at 6 months to 6 years of age. Females are repeatedly artificially inseminated (raped) to keep them breeding, but are unable to properly care for their piglets, who most die before being old enough to ship off to slaughter. Pigs are beaten, electrocuted, shouted at, stabbed, anally and vaginally sodomized, spray painted, denied the outdoors, and injuries left untreated. Sows are bred so much and receive no exercise that their organs will even begin to be pushed out of their anus.
While dairy cows are all sent to slaughter once they are not producing enough milk, bovines raised exclusively for their flesh don't receive better treatment. Cattle are kept in small pens, packed tightly together. Cows are raped often to keep them breeding, and all are killed at 2-3 years of age. They are fed a mixture of grains, ground up fish, and even other cows. Cattle live in their own waste, and even on large ranches the cattle are sent off to slaughter. Raising cattle also takes up much of the land and destroys the land for wildlife.
Chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese are raised in small cages or kept in barns so tightly packed they can barely move. Broiler chickens grow so quickly that at 42 days old they can't even walk. That's the same as a child weighing over 400 pounds. Here is a comparison photo. They are then killed at only a few weeks old.
Animals are tightly packed into trailers and shipped off to slaughter. They are so tightly crammed inside that animals are unable to move, they are on top of each other, and many don't make it to their destination. They can be inside these trailers for a few days even, suffering through temperatures over 100 degrees, to well below freezing, receiving no food, water, or loving touches. Some animals are shipped across oceans on ships, being packed together, cruelly hoisted by their necks off the ship, and left to drown when ships collapse-side.
At the slaughterhouse the animals smell the blood and death, hear the screams of those before them, and fear the horror of the place. They are electrocuted and beaten off of the trucks, and those unable to stand are dragged off by bobcat vehicles, forklifts, and other such equipment. The animals are forced down tight walkways and into a small room where they watch each other be killed, or forced one by one into a machine that flips them over, pins down their neck, and allows a worker to cut their neck open. Once they have their necks cut, they are hung upside down by a chain tied around a back ankle and hoisted up. Some slaughterhouses use a bolt gun before cutting the animals' necks. The bolt gun shoots a metal bolt into the animal's head when held against it. The gun is supposed to stun the animal, rendering them unconscious, but it is not always the case. Some animals need to have it done repeatedly, some are rendered unable to move while still conscious, and in halal and kosher slaughter they are never stunned.
The animals always struggle to live, trying to flee, trying to hide, and sometimes are just too terrified to move. Just like humans, animals are able to cry tears, and it is often they do so. As the bleeding animals are taken through the slaughterhouse, suffocating as they bleed out, many are still alive and conscious. They are then dumped in boiling water, the live ones screaming from the searing, agonizing pain. If they survive that, they are then gutted and have their legs removed. The head is cut off, they are skinned, and their bodies sent off to have more done to them in preparation to be sold. The slaughterhouse is always filled with the hellish screams of the dying, their fear, and the horrendous pain they suffer as they are killed and beaten. "Humane" slaughter simply doesn't exist for there is NO humane way to kill someone who doesn't want to die. Animals can't be euthanized for that leaves the euthanasia chemicals inside of their flesh, and as discussed in my journal on hunting, shooting in the head doesn't always guarantee an instant death, or even death. To add to this, whenever someone dies feces, urine, and blood is released throughout the body, so all flesh consumed is filled with these as well.
The corpses are sent off to be changed even more so that consumers won't associate the packages of meat bought with the killed animals. Carbon monoxide is pumped onto flesh to turn it bright red when in reality dead flesh is a dark, brownish color which starts to turn green in a couple of days. Liquids are added to chicken bodies to make them appear larger, and the corpses are purposely cut to not resemble bodies.
Fish are sentient and feel pain. They are caught by the billions every year, emptying the oceans, and killing millions of other sea life that gets caught in the nets, and starving from their prey being taken away. Scientists predict that in the year 2048 all ocean life will be gone. Most fish are fed to livestock, oddly enough, and even more are accidental catches, so are dumped back into the ocean often dead. Even fish caught with hooks don't fair better for they feel the pain in their mouth similar to how a human would if they had a hook put through it.
In some countries domesticated cats and dogs are consumed. They are either bred on farms, but usually are stolen off the streets or from people's back yards. In China, it is believed that the more a dog and cat are tortured the "better" their flesh will taste. They are boiled alive, burned with torches, beaten, hung to death, and skinned alive. The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is held once a year in China where thousands of dogs are brutally killed in a matter of days. Dogs and cats have their paws tied together, often behind their backs, stuffed into tiny cages, and treated worse than trash. These animals are also eaten in the United States and other countries.
To add to this the meat industry uses up so many resources and so much money trying to lie about their cruel product that government bailouts are needed to keep them running. The chicken industry also needs bailouts. And here.
To top this all off, non-human animals are sentient, intelligent, feel pain such as we do, and simply want to be loved. Animals feel and it doesn't take studies to see that in action. Animals befriend each other regardless of species as we see here, they protect and love their offspring, they solve puzzles, communicate in their own languages, and adapt to new challenges. Animals will even sacrifice themselves to save their young, use sex for pleasure as well as breeding, and even learn the routines of humans to better steal from trash cans. To deny non-human animals can think is simply foolish. Humans are animals after all, so why would other animals not also think, love, and suffer? Simply, animals feel and think, period.
While eating animals may have been a necessity in extreme survival situations, in today's time with modern technology it is not. The amount of meat eaten in a day by the average person is the same amount of meat eaten in several months' time by those hundreds of years ago. Meat has always been the food of the rich, with peasants relying only on crops for survival. Gladiators were vegetarians, and Japan actually never ate red meat, or really any meat, until after white men begun to trade. Yes, ninjas and samurais were vegetarians. Only with modern refrigeration has consuming animal products become so commonplace.
In fact, some of the most brilliant minds were vegans and vegetarians such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo, Leo Tolstoy, Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Confucius, Van Gogh, George Berndard Shaw, Voltaire, Pascal, and many, many others. Here are some vegan celebrities as well as some vegan athletes. Here is also vegan bodybuilder Frank Medrano showing how you don't need animal products to be strong and fit.
If you can live a healthy lifestyle without harming anyone and still eat delicious food, why wouldn't you? And, no religion doesn't support eating animals, either. And as for Lab Grown Meat see here.

Thank you for the suggestion! I've looked trough some of your writings and will research it further as time permits. I was using cats as an example in this to acknowledge that sometimes death may be necessary. I debated between self defense and carnivores and chose carnivores because I tend to be a pascifist and I know about cats being predominately carnivores and becoming severely ill when I tried to deny that fact. This is not meant to say I'm creating exceptions to being pro-Iife, but that I'm not trying to deny reality, which is a common accusation against someone who is pro-Iife, that we deny reality.

Yes, felines are TRUE carnivores, but sometimes they need plants only. It's a topic many people thinkt hat if you feed a cat a plant-based diet they WILL die because they "need" meat, but reality is, sometimes cats have allergies! And more cats die due to their humans ignoring those medical needs because they hate the idea of a plant-based diet for them, than cats ever killed actually eating plant-based! My dog who recently passed away was on a doggie vegan diet because her stomach was so sensitive she got sick from everything. Only a plant-based diet helped her. And I'm vegan so that made it easy! But, canines are true omnivores, so it's SUPER easy to make them plant-based. And now this puppy I rescued I'm just going to feed her plant-based because my other baby healed from so many things when she went plant-based I think it's best for them. Like, my dog was abused by my evil parents as well, and she wasn't able to walk, her teeth were rotting, going blind, etc. But after I saved her and put her on a plant-based diet she was healed in like 2 months.
I think the biggest denial of reality is humans thinking we need to eat animal products or exploit animals for any reason, and that veganism will "destroy the planet." But when you look at reality, humans are herbivores, using animals is simply abuse and unnecessary, and veganism will SAVE the planet. And you can't be pro-life if you still are killing someone in some way. True pro-life is being pro-life for EVERYONE. Otherwise, you're just anti-abortion.
But, please do read my journals and see the sources I attached for more info. And ask me any questions you may have!

With regard to abortion, the most common argument for the occasional necessity of death is when the mother's life is in danger, but I chose what I thought was a less controversial and more general example, which was the existence of carnivores. I didn't expect any opposition to that. To be clear, are you saying you believe that most cats could be vegan or just a rare few?
Years ago, I tried making four of my cats vegan, but to say it didn't work is an understatement. They became very sick and it was a contibuting factor in the deaths of two of them. You're probably one of the few people who won't think I was crazy or cruel for trying to use a plant based diet. My parents, friends, vets, etc all knew the result, but I had to experience it to learn for myself. I wanted to believe this world could be some kind of paradise, but I learned through all the death and suffering over the years that that's not possible and trying to deny that actually led to more death and suffering by trying to force my ideas of morality onto others without truly understanding how this world works.
I've read through some of your writings, but there was one thing I didn't find, so maybe you can link me to it if you have already addressed it or just answer here: How do you keep copper toxicity in check? Plant-based proteins are high in copper, which builds up in the liver, tissues and other organs, including the brain. The first signs are not sleeping, then not digesting, and finally the body falling apart.
I've been using zinc, molybdenum, NAC, and other sulphur aminos to chelate the copper and bind it with other things to get it out, but it's a delicate process. How do you avoid this while still being completely vegan? Have you just not been vegan long? The vegans I've known have all eventually seen their health decline rapidly. I can no longer handle nuts, beans, soy, etc. But you make it sound so easy. It was when I was a kid, but it didn't stay easy as I grew older. While there has been great strides in preventing the malnutrition and cancer generally associated with being vegan, there isn't a vegan friendly way I can find to prevent the nerve, cell and general organ damage from progressing asside from a constant strict regimen of supliments to get rid of the copper three times a day every day. And it's still not enough.
Of course, everyone's body is different, as you point out with animals with allergies, so maybe you got lucky in that case. Either way, I hope you appreciate how easy it is for you. It's not for everyone.
Like you, I'd like for us all to become vegan. I've just had to accept that won't be possible until the next world. If veganism is to save the world, we'll need our bodies to evolve to a point we can all live without relying on animals for food, and my spiritual belief is that this world won't last that much longer. I understand we disagree on that, but that's okay.

So, just because the world may not be perfect you want to give up? Guess we shouldn't be mad about children dying in wars since it won't be perfect.
Cats CAN be on plant-based diets if you are careful to ensure they get all their nutritional needs. The mistake happens when you don't give them all those needs. And some cats do suffer from medical conditions that make them unable to process animal amino acids. This is mostly due to domestication. That's why so many domesticated canines can't eat meat, or have super sensitive bellies, as my girl Maggie did. She could barely eat anything because everything made her sick, and a plant-based diet was the best thing for her. And even then I still needed to be careful because some plants still upset her.
Many people have plant-based cats who are thriving and healthy. And that's because they are very careful what they feed them, give them a round diet, and research. Some do it because of ethics, some because their cats have allergies or can't process animal amino acids. But in the end, it's being done.
And you CAN have cats eating meat that's humane if it's LAB grown meat. Meat from animals is of course cruel since there's no humane way to kill someone, but lab grown meat is cruelty free, no animals, and doesn't use up that much resources. And we can easily transfer carnivorous animals in human care onto that rather than continue murdering billions of animals every year.
I have NEVER heard of copper in plants.... No doctor or nutritional advisor has EVER said that, no study I've seen has mentioned it, and I have NEVER heard a vegan or a plant-based eater talk about it... It sounds like you have a medical condition, because that is NOT normal.
It is VERY easy to be vegan. Those people who got sick on a plant-based diet either got sick because of one both of these two reasons:
1) Their bodies were detoxing. When you eat a lot of animal products and junk food, and then quickly switch to a healthy diet of plants, your body is in this, "Whoa, I am no longer struggling to process junk anymore! Let's clean house!" state. So, the body is flushing out the bad stuff, animal amino acids, animal fat, lipids, the antibiotics that's inside of meat, the arsenic, harsh chemicals, etc. that's all in that. And that detoxing process can make you sick. Have diarrhea, all of that. That's why doctors recommend that if you have a pretty unhealthy diet of lots of animal products and junk food that you SLOWLY transition over. Avoid your body flushing out toxins too quickly. It helps you avoid getting sick.
I accidentally made my dog switch over to plant-based too fast after rescuing her form my abusive parents who had her on that shitty Purina dog food. She got sick for about a week before her body finished detoxing. And after she was done, she only improved, and before long she was walking again and her eyesight got better.
2) The second reason people can get sick on a plant-based diet is simply not taking in all the nutrients they need. Sadly, many people think simply eating 5 fruits and veggies is enough, but it's not. It's a full range of fruits, veggies, legumes, nuts, etc. So long as you ensure you eat a variety and enough, you get all your nutrients and do fine.
Here, Dr. Klaper talks about it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps4RN9…
The human body simply is herbivorous. ALL humans can live plant-based since our bodies literally are meant for that. What it seems like is you have either a medical condition or you have a high copper diet and having difficulty flushing it out.
I found this: drlwilson.com/Articles/copper%…
That may help.
It may be that your body is having trouble processing the copper. Here, Dr. Greger talks about how to get your body to better absorb things: www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5iRNS…
Dr. Greger's website is very helpful: nutritionfacts.org/

I'm sorry if that sounded like I was giving up. I'm sure how upset that experience made me came across in my tone, but what I mean is I acted out of a belief I could change everything and make things a paradise without understanding how this world works or even how cats work, so as a result they became ill. There's no simple solution to make such drastic changes and thinking there was blinded me to the complexity of the issue. It takes a whole lot of time and research to make anything better and nothing will be perfect, something I didn't even want to acknowledge. I truly didn't see that not knowing everything I needed to would actually make things worse. Maybe not better right away, but to have such horrible consequences, no I don't see it. I had this simple vision in my mind and we don't live in a simple perfect little world. With all the research you do, I think you'll agree with this. I should have researched things first instead of assuming things have to work the way I thought.
I think lab grown "meat" is an ideal solution to a lot of issues, including feeding cats, as most cats don't have the metabolism to go vegan wirhout incredibly complicated regimens, so just feeding carnivores "meat" is an ideal solution. Unforfunately, currently it's hard to come by and reserved mostly for the upper classes. Just like with vegan humans, it's so difficult for poorer people compared to wealthier people, because of the variety and supliments, etc. I mean just look at what's in the cheapest food products, both for humans and for other animals. If it's cheap and redily available even in small shops, it's almost guaranteed to be unhealthy. If we truly wish to transition away from animal products, it'll need to be affordable and easily accessible for everyone. I work at a library and many people come in to use the internet computers because they can't afford home internet access and they just have time to fill out applications online or make resumes, not research what to eat. Many parents work two jobs just to feed their kids. And that's not even getting into if someone in a third world country wanted to go vegan, where varied food sources, supplements and education are limited. So economic inequality is definitely a big area that must be addressed.
Plants are high in bioavailable copper and animal products are high in bioavailable zinc. Copper and zinc are antagonists, which means they work against one another and compete for binding sites. Excess copper can lead to a zinc deficiency and vice versa. When you have an imbalance in the two, it can lead to health problems. The only places I haven't seen mention the dangers of excess copper are some vegan websites. Vegetarian and just general health sites mention it, as does the link you gave me about copper (though only on the full article: www.drlwilson.com/articles/cop… ). It may be they leave it out for the same reason they omit facts about human digestion, to try to portray humans as historic herbavores instead of omnivores. The approach is reminiscent of carnivore sites that present selective data to portray humans as evolving from carnivores instead of being omnivores. I find this to be a disservice to vegans as we need to know how to properly supliments zinc, such as letting grains sprout to make zinc more bioavailable, avoiding soy since it's in a lot of vegan things but very high in copper, taking in about twice as much zinc as omnivores, and identifying copper toxicity symptoms early on.
Copper-zinc balance and inbalance is fairly easy to research, as is finding foods high in bioavailable copper or zinc or both by searching for a list or just looking up nutrient contents of any given food. You'll notice a lot on how vegetarian diets lead to too much copper to zinc ratio, especially compared to average Americans and their obsession with eating beef, which is very high in zinc. Feel free to research this on your own. Don't just take my word for it. You can start by looking up more about copper and zinc on Google or a site you trust.
I became vegan as a small child, so I'm quite familiar with the ups and downs, but I've also seen other long-term vegans become ill from copper toxicity. It's also interesting to note that high copper levels make someone disgusted by meat in the same way high zinc levels make someone crave meat. It's why it's so hard for some people do change from meat to plants and plants to meat. Understanding this can help transition people away from meat easier. Or, we can just have redily available lab grown meat.
How long have you been vegan? My problem was not understanding how to maintain a proper zinc to copper balance and so, now that I do, it's expensive and a lot of work trying to undo years of ignorance. Many of the things you talk about are not generally known by most people, so there's a cost and education gap that does make it challenging for many people (I'm talking about eating advice, not just what you say about animal rights). I'm sure you've gotten a lot of feedback about how people were ignorant of such things before reading it in your articles.
Thank you for the links. I've actually already been following a lot of the advice from those sites before you shared them because I guess the copper detox process is pretty much the same no matter who recommends it. Of course, it's a bit more complicated for me because, as you noticed, I do have other health problems and the copper toxicity has done a lot of damage already. It has to be released from the cells and then binded in the blood stream, but right now it's led to a backup in my liver.
I would strongly recommend you research copper-zinc before what has befallen others befalls you. It's far easier to prevent a problem that to reverse it. Keep in mind that, like other animals, each human is different and will need to adapt diets to their own unique needs. If you're taking in your other nutrients but not keeping you zinc and copper levels in balance by having more zinc, you're going to find out the hard way eventually. I've learned a lot the hard way, both with myself and those I love, so please look into this.

Okay, haven't replied in a long time because I have a hard time dealing with long replies. Usually when people write me an essay it's because they're attacking me so I need time to calm before I can reply.
Veganism is a lifestyle of peace and compassion, plant-based is just a diet. So, you were plant-based, not vegan. There's a difference. And, I have NEVER seen nor heard of ANY vegan or plant-based eater having copper issues. That seems to be very uniquely you or a small group of people.
I think you should try to get in contact with one of the doctors I recommend. They are the experts and would help you. But you CAN go plant-based. Humans are natural herbivores and it's not natural for us to be eating animal products, nor is it good for the planet. Read my journals, see the links in them, and feel free to follow me.
I know I'm never going to have a copper-zince issue like you have because that's not caused by a plant-based diet. It because of genetics or your body having difficulty processing it. Most humans don't have that issue. And I'm Hispanic. We eat a lot of beans which are very high in zinc, so I'm good on that.
Look at what those doctors are saying. Again, sorry for late reply but I just really can't handle massive replies to me due to them now being associated with carnists attacking me. I am attacked so much online and harassed for being vegan, for being against cruelty, that just seeing new notifications makes my heart drop.

I'm sorry if the length of my reply was a problem. I was just trying to address what you wrote and linked me to thoroughly.
I'm curious why you'd say specifically that veganism is "a lifestyle of peace and compassion" and so I wasn't really vegan? I've always embraced peace and compassion. I didn't actually intend to make my cats sick by giving them vegetables. I made a mistake. I'm not perfect, but that doesn't disqualify me from embracing peace and compassion.
Those doctors' advice is what I've already been doing, as I said in my last reply. To clarify, I genuinely have experienced a lot of issues that I never saw coming and don't want anyone else to go through.
I understand you don't believe you've seen or heard of any vegan or plant based eater having copper issues, but I'd just like to point out that not only did you ignore that the full text from link you provided talked about vegan diets causing a copper zinc imbalance leading to copper toxicity, but your response shows you've never even looked into the very easy to research and biological fact that humans require a specific copper to zinc balance that is harder to maintain (though far from impossible if one is careful) for those who eat only plants. I'm not a "carnist." I just have a different perspective based on personal experiences and research to try to be healthy while not eating, hurting, or exploiting other animals.
I'm sorry if my concern for you upset you. That wasn't my intent. I hope you can try to see things from my perspective and understand why I'd advocate for greater awareness of what we eat vs simply it must all be fine in any combination if it's from plants and edible. You're very analytical, as what you've written proves, so I'm confident you'll see why talking about the copper to zinc balance and knowing the bioavailability of each in a food vs the overall content in the food is important.
Sorry if this was too long.

Sorry for taking so long to respond... My depression is worse and I'm about to commit suicide.
I posted a new journal that goes over questions and answers about veganism. I hope that helps answers questions you have. I just am not in the state of mind to be writing to people constantly.
And I also have been unable to respond due to intense cyberbullying I'm experiencing on this site. It's very severe, dA won't do anything despite being reported to them, and no one is helping me with these cyberbullies. And even though they aren't the reason I'm suicidal, they certainly are helping to push me that way because it's just another reminder that no one cares about me and people are willing to fabricate the most awful lies about me to get more people to hate me.
I'll just leave this here if you care: sta.sh/211rnxouv1hw?edit=1
I just want them to delete their hate journals about me and leave me alone. I've never done anything to them and don't want to ever see or hear from them. But they want to pretend I am "stalking" them and "harassing" them so they can do this and send people to my page. They even have been trying to access my account by trying to change my password and made an impersonator account...
Just look at the link... And help if you can. I can't keep doing this.

I have read some of your newest article, but I also learned recently that there's a character limit in written works and journals on DeviantArt, so you may reach it since there's so much to cover. I was thinking that you could also make a master article or section on your profile that links to everything you've written and a brief summary of each section. Of course, if you've already done this and I've missed it, I'm sorry. Things don't always show up as easily from a phone, which is my source of internet access.
Depression can have different causes, from stress to biological changes to genetics and more, so I'd pay attention to the causes that are specific to you and deal with that first. For example, when your mood changes, try to pinpoint if anything else changed, be it an event that occurred, change in stress levels, sleep pattern change, dietary or supplement change, menstrual change, digestive change, etc. If you write notes each time you feel depressed you may discover a pattern.
If it turns out that it's something you can't change, you can still help reduce depression by focusing on things you enjoy that you can do just for yourself, like drawing, reading, taking a walk in nature, listening to music, playing games, or whatever you personally enjoy.
Also, while you say that the activity on DeviantArt isn't the cause of you feeling suicidal, I don't think it's helping. Now, while writing things out and venting can be therapeutic, you have clearly put a lot of emotional energy into writing about and organizing things related to the bullying. If you're that focused on something that upsets you, it can push you further into depression. Where your mental energy is, there your emotional energy will be too.
Back when I was on Colors, there was occasionally drama even though I mostly tried to avoid it. I found that if people responded to what people said with the same attitude they came at them with, it just made things worse and people would take sides and then it would be those who support them vs those who support the other person and they'd argue with each other and on and on. Seeing that reinforced the idea of responding not by mirroring how others treat me, but with kindness and respect no matter how they treated me. It didn't always work, but it did keep me out of most drama. This site isn't that different even though the average user is older than when I was on Colors, so I see it the same way.
Also, what I do is frequently take long breaks from DeviantArt and any online social interactions and focus on other things. I also find ways to relax myself. Family members of a different species, such as cats or dogs, are especially helpful in overcoming depression. Also, when I don't want to go on, thinking of those I love and who love me helps. Then, when you feel calmer and more able to deal with things online, you can return. I personally don't tell people I'm going to take a break because it creates stress and people will want to know when I'll be back. I just apologize when I get back if it's been a long time or otherwise just continue where I left off. People are used to it by now. No one should expect anyone to be online all the time.
Also, something to keep in mind is that it isn't what we go through that defines us, but how we react to it. We naturally mirror the reactions of others, like being rude when they're rude. But if you're able to respond to hate, rude remarks and insults with patience and compassion, you grow as a person. I'm not saying you shouldn't care how others treat you or what they think of you, as caring what others think comes from caring about others and you can't stop caring what others think unless you stop caring about others. Instead, I'm saying to embrace that compassion, peace and love in another way. For me, I find that is Christ, but I still need times alone to recover.
Everyone is different, so you will need to find what works for you, but do look because I believe you'll find at least something that helps. I don't know all the details, but I do also believe that you have a lot you want to do and the depression is interfering.
