Description
Along side the great Wayne Gretzky, in my book of Hockey gods, Ray Bourque, #77, is there. Now and forever my favorite Boston Bruins player. (And then there's Cam Neely and Bobby Orr, but I was too lazy to paint them too.)I do have to admit though, the scanner killed the painting. He used to have both skates there, and a lot more space around him.....but....eh....yah, that's what happens when your scanner bed is only 9 1/2" x 11". *shrugs* Aside from that.....the back of one of my paintings made last year in Color and Design was the paper used, and simple poster paint because I am broke and there are no acrylics to be found in my house anywhere that haven't dried into dry brick hard cylinders (From the old Animation Cell painting kits everybody got me when I was little....>_>...)

Ah, Bruins history... Now that they have nobody special anymore (maybe Bergeron, that's it) I can only look to the past for good memories of the Bruins. Ray was the best, and this pic captures the legend in his prime! Awesome pic, so much that iut's a definite fav! Keep it up!

Too bad about the current NHL lockout...=_= And I was just starting to get interested in hockey again, too. Figures.

There's AHL hockey you could go watch, I remember it being pretty good actually. Like the Providence Bruins, or the Lowell Lock Monsters. My favorites were the Springfield Falcons and the Hartford Wolf Pack, personally. > _>
Loads better than WHL hockey, which is mostly up in Canada and Spokane's team didn't even get into the playoffs......*sigh.*
