(hope I'm repling to the right message) Thank you Leighlei for the comments and the fav. About the backgrounds, I tend to cheat those and either leave them out or just put in swirls because I often times don't have the patience to bother with them after all the work that goes into drawing the figures.

Very bad habit, I know.

Thank you Marie-Sofie. This was actually drawn with lead pencils (2H, H, F, HB, and a 2B mechanical). I've actually never tried using charcoal.

Oh Well, I've never been good at knowing the difference, so I tend to generalize stuff like that... charcoal tends to be less sharply pointed in it's "lines" I suppose.
