Description
FINALLY rescanned and pasted this old thing together. A friend of mine asked me too cause he's planning to make some wallpapers out of a few of my celeb drawings. That's pretty cool.Had to scan this in 4 segements and then paste it altogether. Took me several tries cause the damn thing's so long the end drapping out the side of the scanner kept causing it to shift in the scanner bed. Finally solved that problem with some tape.....
Anyways, now everyone can see the full Face/Off drawing as intended (rather then just the 2 sections I posted last month).

Now THIS is how its meant to be ! The first two were awesome, but this takes teh cake, great pic!
Ehh, would somebody PLEASE tell me how to scan an image bigger than my flatbed? I try to scan in sections, but then the edges become dark, its annoying >_<

Thanks Cagan.
When i scan a picture bigger the my flatbed I scan part, copy and past it into MS Paint (low tech, I know), then I scan the next piece, click on the scanned area in my scanner program, select only a portion of the image (not to the full end where its darkened) and copy that and paste it into MS Paint. Hope that helps.
(I doubt it )

Its the only way I've been able to figure it out. At least I'm getting SOMEWHAT better at scanning. My pencil shaded drawings (the ones too big for the scanner) always came out 2 tones when pasted together (annoying to say the least), and my marker sketches used to be really flat and washed looking. Thank goodness I figured out how to increase the contrast in PS7 so I can make those coloured sketches look more true to how they really look. (thats about the limit of my PS7 expertise!)
Sorry I couldn't be any more help.

Tell me about it. I'm only 27 and I feel ancient. Scary when having a conversation with friends of my younger sister (who's 21) and I mention pop culture stuff from the 80s and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Soooooo old......

I'm 20, but I do know some things about the 80s! What's sad is that kids just 2 years younger than me are lost sometimes if I talk about them!

When I was about 20 or 21 my dad (a former elementary teacher) asked me to come in one day and teach the students some drawing stuff for art class (think they were grade 4 students at the time). I started drawing shapes on the black board and tell the kids that by using different shapes they could draw cartoon faces. I drew several as examples and said you can even draw Bert and Ernie (then sketched them out). The kids had no idea who I was talking about.

Sad, isn't it? Almost as sad as when i lent my dad my old Star Wars VHS (back in 95 or 96 I think) tapes to show in class and the kids had never heard of the movies.
No excuse for that!
