Description
A commission for =ArgoForg that took much longer then it should. The guy in the middle is a DC villian who is a decendant of King Midas (i believe thats correct >__>;; ) and the two girls are Hawkgirl (left) and Stargirl (right). Yeah, so...Tried out some new coloring styles...aaand thats about it.Midas(c) ArgoForg

king midas..gold..sounds familar..the legend of the king who turned everything to gold but in the end couldn't even eat and such wasnt it? XD how on earth did he get a child.....XD

Not my character so i wouldn't know. My thought is either someone taking the name after getting the gold ability or somehow he passed his soul thru like reincarnation

Okay, where to begin, other than "Crap, I am SO wayyyy behind responding to this!"
First, the expression on his face is perfect. He's got that utterly perfect smarmy "I own you" expression going that perfectly fits the character. On top of that, the pose, where he's leaning on the Stargirl statue, the fact he used a post to keep Hawkgirl upright, and the fact he's put up spotlights to display his 'art' like that just speaks volumes about the sort of person he is. (Yes, rich and good-looking and conceited and completely amoral. You know, if I had money, looks and no morals, I could be him. ... Okay, if I had looks and money, I wouldn't much care otherwise. 
Speaking of, I still am agog at the work you did on his body armor... When I zoom on the pic, especially, I can see the amount of detail that went into it, and... man. Just dayum. You outdid yourself! Great stuff!
And speaking of dayum... man, the solid gold heroines came out just perfect! Gold is not an easy hand-drawn/color material to pull off, and you did a great job with it! I love the work you did with the light refracting off it, and the cast it gave the spotlights. And their expressions, from Hawkgirl's outrage to Stargirl's "Say Wha?" are right on. Awesome work.
This is just a perfect piece, and I'm really sorry it took me this long to sing its praises, because it definitely deserves it and then some! I'm really looking forward to working with you again on another sometime soon! Thank you again!

seriously... ever heard of comfy clothing?
anyway, really nice. love the shininess of the gold, could've been a bit more over the top shiny (looks a bit dull for a metal, especially compared to the guy's suit)
