Myself smoking one of numerous cigarettes before moving out on a night mission where we got into quite a firefight. There was a Navy Lieutenant who happened to be at the staging area who was a photographer and took quite a few pictures of my platoon. I unfortunately forget his name. Thanks! Or should I say "tanks!" haha...oh man. I'm currently 19D, but I was a 19K during my first tour (which is where this shot was taken). I reclassed when I got back...I love being a scout!

Man I miss those days! I was a Scout from '95 to '01. When I came off active to go to college the Nasty Girls were looking for some truck drivers. It figures that I was a Scout for 6 and never saw combat but a year after I learn to drive a truck I get deployed!

Thanks! The ironic thing was that I just put up that title not even thinking how my platoons call sign was Storm. Double entendre? Haha. Did you go across the pond at all?
