This always happened. Every time you went out. Some guy would like the look of you and start following you. Only tonight, it wasn’t just one and they weren’t just normal guys. You had three and all three of them were built and you could barely see the outline of a gun on one. You just kept trying to find a place to hide. Soon you saw a bar you knew a great friend of yours often frequented. You smiled and soon ran in. he was there alright, downing beer again but once he heard the door open, he looked up. Those green eyes met yours and he quickly put out the fresh smoke and you ran over to him. He opened one arm and he quickly pulled you close in a hug.

“What’s wrong lass?”

“I’m being followed again Allistor.” Right then you heard the door open and he quickly got you a beer and kept his arm around you.

“Three lads, big with weapons?” you nodded as you took a quick drink. You needed it after all of this. You had been scared to death they would pull something before you found someone to help. He just nodded and soon they got a table behind you and you felt him pull you closer. You didn't care. Ever since you were little and in school, Allistor had protected you, from bullies, from bugs, and as you got older, from ex-boyfriends and stalkers. There for a while you could have sworn you were falling for him honestly. Too bad he felt the same way. He was watching you shake even if you couldn't see it and to be honest, it pissed him off. He wanted you to be his girl to protect for the rest of your life. That’s kind of the reason he was here. He was trying to build up the courage to tell you. Soon he noticed the men were getting edgy and he smiled at you. It calmed any worries you had then.

“I’ll be right back alright lass? You just stay here. Get whatever you want ok?”

you nodded and soon he nodded at the assholes. They followed him around back. You sat there listening and soon you could swear you heard a fight. The bartender thought so too but kept quiet. Allistor has often been drunk here and talked about you. Even had pictures in his wallet you gave him that he showed off. If he was finally going to tell you how he felt, then a little brawl out back was ok. Finally he came in. you looked up and quickly ran. He had a cut on his arm and his nose and lip were bleeding. For some reason the other guys hadn't come back in.

“Allistor!” he looked up and you soon got his hand and pulled him into the ladies room. He tired protesting but you weren't having any of it. You got him down on the sink counter and soon handed him some paper towels to try to control the bleeding.

“You need to calm down (Y/N). I’m fine.”

“So you call bleeding fine?” you looked at him scared and soon pulled out the small first aid kit you kept with you. He hissed as you pressed the alcohol pad on the cut but soon you were able to rub it clean. Then you wrapped it in gauze and quickly taped it down. You were shaking again and soon he took your hands.

“(Y/N)…”

“Why Allistor…. Why do you protect me?” he smiled gently then and soon just lifted your face. You were crying.

“Now there’s no need for water works hon. its ok. I do it because…. Well because I love you.”

right then he kissed you and you just kind of melted. The tears and blood mixed but you couldn't taste either. The beer he had been drinking, his smokes. That was his taste and you loved it. You quickly pulled away and gently held a paper towel to the cut in his lip. He smiled and soon wiped the blood off yours along with tears.

“Um you might want to tell the bartender to call a ride for the lads out back.”

“Why?” he smiled and soon flashed a gun you knew only as the gentleman’s pistol. You just stared at it and soon just shook your head smiling.

“Did you kill them?”

“Nah, just took out their knees and then busted their balls was all.” You laughed a bit with him before heading back to the bar to make sure they got a ride. The funny thing is when you two sat down the bartender looked at Allistor and smiled.

“Finally did it when you were sober huh?” of course he went beat red then while you sat there slightly confused. They both just smiled at you and he quickly pulled you back in for a kiss before the cops got here. After all he would have some explaining to do.
