Description
My first show entry and human drawing! I like neither, but I worked too hard on this. I'm hoping that my
poses and humans will get better as I practice. That one leg really bothers me, but that is what the pose looked
like so I just went with it. You will probably see a lot of Chrome coming up because he is going to be in a quite a
few classes at this show I'm not sure what kind of stories should go with entries, so I took a swing...

Sydney nervously folded her hair up under her cap as Santana finished tacking up Chrome. His eyes were squinted,
and he seemed more focused than Sydney had ever seen him. With his ears twitching back and forth, Sydney grabbed
his reins and led him to the dressage arena. The trio watched the few horses that performed before them avidly.
Santana pointed out all their flaws while Sydney just wrung her hands together and kept patting Chrome’s shoulder.
He barely spared her a glance as he looked on towards the competitors. Sydney could have sworn he was memorizing
each and every move they made. She hoped that would help them in the arena.
As the last entry finished up, Santana helped Sydney on to Chrome’s back. “Good luck,” Santana whispered as she
patted Chrome’s rump. His head bobbed up and down repeatedly, and he chomped at his bit. Sydney nervously pulled
at the reins until he settled down. Her name was announced over the loudspeaker, cuing her to trot into the arena. She
took a deep breath and laid her spur into Chrome’s side. He extended into a trot immediately, surprising Sydney with
how much strength he used. She hadn’t owned him long enough to train well before the event, after all this was meant
for training, but he had never shown such focus and ambition as he was then. Sydney grew more confident as he
strutted his way into the arena. She knew that he would carry her through without a hitch.
