It is like from a birdbook, such an amazing focus and can't say that would be the only good thing in this one. Just seems that everything is perfect in this one: the way the bird is positioned, the lovely branch, the expression on the bird. Just lovely and very chirpy! I know that's not a word or I think it ain't but I meant that you can hear some lovely noise made by little birds when watching this one though I have no idea what kind of voice she has.

I'm glad you liked it and that it's "birdbook standard"
It is a very chirpy bird it makes small and short sounds and drink the nectar from the small flowers.
Thanks again for all your comments, I appreciate it

So-o cute ! I must sound ridiculous, but this bird is gorgeous !
And what a beak ! I had never heard or read of such a bird before, even in books.
A beautiful picture

great! Looks like a postcard! Love the composition
One thing bothers me though, the black frame. As birds represents freedom, I find the black frame imprisoning the "bird" or the "idea" of the picture. It's just me though.
I love black frames and it suits most pictures but in this case a 'White' frame would do the job better as it implies continuation of the picture and simbolize freedom far better then the color 'black'.
My two cents about 'Frames'

Thank you Gil for your comment.
About the frame, until a year ago I would make more colored frames with outlines and patterns... and then I came to conclusion that in my opinion the black standard frame is the nicest since it doesn't steal the attention from the subject.
Perhaps you're right and a year ago I wouldn't even think about the black frame, but as I mentioned...

Roie
