Oh smexeh muffins. Well flamingo, its very purdy. Where did you take it? I took a really awesome flamingo picture when I went to the Galapogos Island. Let me tell you something: If you are a aspiring photographer go to the Glapogos! The animals are unique and beautiful and also, the animals aren't afraid of people so you can get really up close and personal shots.

This was out at the wild animal park near San Diego. And that sounds like a fun time, never even thought of going there, but yeah, i bet it would be amazing. Thanks for the idea.

very nice shot in this backlight, Roland -dof, water reflexion, movement...
imho crop could be improved a little - top frame border looks too close to birds head

In all honestly, and meant as constructive criticism, this images doesn't really work for me. I feel like my eyes come to a dead stop as they run off the page. I do like the lighting and the capture of the bird, but I wish the flow worked a little better, personally.

So you would go for more space in front of him, less space behind him then? And thank you for the critique, i do appreciate it.

There are always exceptions, but I think for this one that's what I'd do. I feel almost like he's going to walk off the frame, and it makes me very anxious, haha, like I want to say "Wait! Come back!"
I did notice the advanced critique after I sent in the comment and felt a little more at ease, lol. I do love your gallery
