A tribute to one of my favorite Manga/Anime, Air Gear!Roller Girl is dressed up like Simca the Swallow! Simca is my favorite character in Air Gear. I think I like her because her behavior is very similar sometimes to what Roller Girl might do in the same situation.
Does anyone else watch/read Air Gear? Who is your favorite character? Do you prefer the Manga or Anime?

...so why is it that all your roller girls have so little clothing? I mean, I would understand a skin tight latex suit, for a streamlined body, but it seems wierd to me to have an ultra-short skirt and half of a blouse flapping in the wind, leaving little or nothing to the imagination...

*giggle* Well, I consider what they are wearing to be more normal than a latex suit.
I like drawing my girls in short clothes that flap in the wind because I find it incredibly sexy. The clothes will flap in the wind to reveal she's not wearing a bra. You can see the skin where the bra should be...but her privates are still concealed. It's something you can only acheive in a drawing, never in real life, and that's why it is so appealing to me.

...? Giggle? That's it? I thought there would be some deep thought here...like how women always have to be half as dressed as the guys, even when they're just as strong, in every fighting game known to man. Except maybe the Bleach one...but Orihime's boobs more than make up for all of that...
Yeah...so they aren't really professional then, right? I mean, every girl I know at least have a flack jacket on at all times while roller skating/battling. An elbow to the boobs hurts more than anything, especially when you collide with someone going in the opposite direction, and going about thirty mph... or... so... I've... heard...
I'm just saying, Val doesn't realize how hurt she could get...

What are you talking about? I don't know of any girls that wear flack jackets when playing sports...and getting hit in the boobs doesn't really hurt any more than getting hit anywhere else, so there is no need for any kind of special protection there. (unless you are playing hockey or something where you can get cross checked with a stick)

Yeah...I do fencing, and the girls in that sport wear something like flack jackets. Then there's other sports like Football, and I would think you'd have some padding in a sport where you're traveling faster than the human can run...
I suppose I'm the guy ranting about the quill pen in Lord of the Rings...

air gear? reminds me of sonic riders for the PS2 and sonic riders zero gravity. an interesting pic though.

Omg you HAVE to go check out the manga! I think you would like it a LOT! There are lots of girls and guys who have contests on skates, and the strongest team is a bunch of girls

Where does the manga take place? For some reason when I look at the picture I get a european feel, but part of her outfit definetly looks like a school uniform of sorts.
